"Chittagong Mother and Child Hospital" is located in Agrabad, the commercial area of Chittagong city. It is a private charitable hospital. Which provides medical services specifically for mothers and children. However, services are also provided to other patients. Under "Chittagong Mother and Child Hospital" there is a nursing institute and nursing college, autistic children's development center, dental unit of Chittagong Mother and Child Department.

Since advanced medical treatment is easily available here at a low cost, almost hundreds of patients come to receive "outpatient" treatment every day. A patient can visit the doctor's chamber by collecting a ticket and serial for 100 taka. Which is much less than a doctor's visit in any private hospital. Outpatient tickets are available between 8 am and 10 am. Moreover, patients can be admitted and receive medical services at the emergency department at any time. I went to "Chittagong Mother and Child Hospital" to get some tests done on the recommendation of my son's doctor.

This 12-storey hospital has a ticket counter for outpatients, a cash counter, a hospital pharmacy on the west side, a pathology collection room, and a children's vaccination center on the first floor. There is a map of the entire hospital on each floor. Seeing this, a patient will easily get the benefit of receiving medical services in this hospital. I bought a ticket and went to the second floor to get my son tested.

Various types of test activities are performed on the second floor of the hospital for patients. So I went to the second floor and first went to the ultrasound room.

The X-ray room is next to the ultrasound room.However, due to the high patient pressure, receiving medical services in this hospital is a bit time-consuming.

On the other side of the second floor is the hospital canteen. In addition to meals for patients, this canteen provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients' visitors.The price of food is also relatively low. This hospital mainly caters to middle and lower middle class patients.
