SLC-S26/W6 | "Coloured pottery"
Hello everyone!

Today I am here to participate in the contest organized by @sualeha about coloured pottery.

Here you can see all the required things to make the pottery.
- An empty bottle
- An empty tin pack
- Oil
- Plaster of Paris

I have cut the big bottle from the half. Then I have applied oil inside the bottle and outside the tin pack so that they can be picked out easily.

I have mixed plaster of Paris in the water. I have made a thing and smooth mixture. It becomes hard very quickly.

I made the base of the pot. I added some plaster of paris at bottom. Then I added tin pack and filled all sides with plaster of Paris. I kept it aside for an hour.

I pulled tick pack out of the mixture when everything became dry. It was rough from the upper sides. But it was completely smooth from outside. It got a complete mold shape of the bottle. I did not add any other colours in the mixture because I like white colour and on white colour I can easily draw other patterns with different colours.

I do not have good drawing skills. I stead of directly drawing a flower I used lead pencil and I drew a flower sketch.

I have coloured the flower. The outer petals are of red colour. The central art is of yellow colour. The branches are of brown colour. The leaves are of green colour.

I have coloured the border of the opening with different colours. These are looking beautiful. I have added a border on the corner side. I have made two small flowers on both sides of bigger flower.

This is the final look of the pottery. I have used white background colour and drew some beautiful flowers on the outer side of the flower. I have placed some pencils, marker, and a pen in it.

The pot is looking very beautiful. It is a good holder for the pencils or anything which we want to place inside it.
Are you satisfied with your final results???
Just like the students I am very satisfied with my final result.
At the end Share your opinion about the pottery classes
Each week of the pottery was very amazing. Even I was unable to participate in all the weeks but whenever I got time I participated and each time I learnt something new. It was a wonderful experience of learning about pottery now I am feeling very confident that I can make any pottery for my own usage.
