SLC-S26/W1 | Basic tools for pot making /Cement pot"|

I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. We buy various types of showpieces or vases to enhance the beauty of our homes. There are many who we have not tried to make. But my sister @sualeha has organized a great engagement challenge for us and through this challenge we can gain experience in making vases. So I thank @sualeha for organizing a great engagement challenge. I will participate in this engagement challenge today. The theme of the engagement challenge is SLC-S26/W1 | Basic tools for pot making /Cement pot. So let's get started.

1. Make a beautiful pot with cement using any design mold for your convenience, follow the method given in the course, add detailed information with step by step pictures. Include your name tag with the date in the final presentation of your work.
   (6 marks)

Below are the materials I need to make a cement vase.

Required materials:

• Cement
• Sand
• One-time bowl
• Small bowl
• Brush
• Paint
• Card paper

Preparation method:

• First step: First, I will put the card paper in the one-time bowl with the sharp side. On the other hand, I will mix the cement and sand together with water.

• Second step: Now I will put some mixed sand cement in the one-time bowl. Then I will put a small bowl in the middle of the one-time bowl and mix it well.

• Third step: Now I will dry it in the sun for a few hours. Then I will separate the vase from the bowl and remove the bowl from the middle. Then I will leave it in the sun for a while longer.

• Fourth step: Now I will decorate the vase with my two favorite colors, white and green.

Finally my vase is done now I will take a selfie with my vase.

I bought some materials to make the vase cement pot and some of the materials were in my house. I tried to make it homemade. Anyway the prices of the materials are given below,

1. Did you face any difficulty during the work or while buying the materials?

The experience of making this was great for me. Because I have made a stove with good cement for cooking and sometimes I have to coat that stove with cement. So I did not face any problem in making cement vase. Rather I made it with joy. Although it takes time to make it, it is not much trouble. I tried to make this vase in an easy way. Alhamdulillah I am very happy to make it.

Of course, playing with clay or different materials makes you happy and de-stressed. Making something with clay or different materials is an art. As I said before, I made this vase with joy. Because I currently have free time so I made this vase using my free time. It was stress-free for me. Besides, there is some empty space in my house for storing showpieces where I can keep this vase. Finally, I will say that it was a very good experience for me.
