SLC season 26 week 4 ||Home decor pottery out of "plaster of Paris"||

I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here again to be a part of this amazing course SLC season 26 week 4 ||Home decor pottery out of "plaster of Paris"||organized by @sualeha. I'm glad that how easy techniques we are learning through this contest to make beautiful art at home. I made a creative mosaic pot by the help of this course and I'm feeling myself an artist.

Let's move towards the task.

1 . Make any decor item for your home out of "plaster of Paris" follow the given method in the course make any one style project according to your convenience,add detail with step-by-step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of your work.

Materials:

Empty plastic jar
Plaster of Paris
Water
polythene bag
Rope
Paints

Making:

• make thick paste of plaster of Paris for that add water and plaster of Paris in a bowl .

*Now we poured all mixture in polythene bag but before that do not forget to put the empty glass jar in the middle of the mixture that poured in polythene bad and glass jar must be half filled with water for weigh and perfect shaped maintaining to our vase ,in the last closed the polythene bag mouth with rope and set a side for at least two hours for complete dry as I mentioned plaster of Paris quickly dried so two hours enough for it ,after that mixture with glass would dry cut the polythene bag care fully and with out demolding you got pot out easily .

• I don't scrub it because I like to give it wooden texture and paint it with brown colour .

2 . Are you like potter from your hands for your home decor ??

Yes ,I really like potter made by me and I'm enjoying thos activity alot. All pots that i made every week is displayed at different spots at my home. When someone see these posts and asked who made this I really enjoyed and encouraged by their appreciation.
