Everyone has their own taste in phones. Most people use iPhones because of the current trends and their ability to give quality pictures and videos. But I'm focusing on Android phones, as most Android phones are affordable and durable. Let me give a quick list of phone brands. Their Nigerian prices will be stated in the course of this post. The aim of this post is to do a review of phone brands and why you should make a particular brand your speciality.

Itel mobileXiaomi
TecnoInfinix
NokiaHuawei
RealmeReno or Oppo
SamsungVivo
Google PixelOnePlus

These are the commonly used Android phone brands in the world. Now, which phone should I buy if I get to a phone store? You know most people advertise their brands in such a way that convinces you to purchase the phone. On purchasing it, you later discover it's not as you were told. I can remember a phone advertiser tell a customer that his phone will charge under 45 minutes to full but it did take an hour to get filled.

You must have used a particular phone before you tell someone your experience. On a monthly basis, we get to see new technologies and phone versions come out. As of last month, the latest Tecno Camon phone came out, and there are people who follow the trend. They'll want to use all the latest phones when they're out.

I've used all the Android phones except OnePlus, Nokia and Realme. So I have a fair knowledge of how their product works. I'll also be exposing some secrets these phones have you may not be aware of. Let's review them one by one.

Itel Mobile

Itel has been in existence for years. It even has button phones attached to it, showing its advancement in age. Despite being an old phone, it's not out of trend. In Nigeria, this is the most affordable phone you can ever get. This price favours the masses, making its sales drive more than any other phone.

Come to think of the phone's display and structure. There was a time I nearly thought an Itel phone was a Samsung because of its cover and camera settings. Itel phones tend to copy the model of some high-class phones, coupled with the fact that they're cheaper. Check out these two phones. One has Samsung model while the other has an iOS model. Why won't this brand have enough customers?

Good Sides

  • One unique feature about Itel phones is their battery capacity. There's a new version of it that comes with a power bank behind it. Like, damn. It also has a 10k mAh phone that's capable of lasting for days. You don't even need an extra power bank because the itel battery has got you covered. When I say Itel, I don't mean the outdated versions.
  • Another good thing about Itel is that even though it copied the structural display of phones like Samsung, it has a nice display and is light.
  • We do hear people complain of broken screens in Tecno, Infinix and Samsung. This is rare in the case of Itel phones. Yes, I'm generalising it. You may have a different case, but 80% has shown that the Itel screen is one of the best.
  • Affordability??? Very affordable, so the middle-aged and the poor can afford the least version of the phone. It also has a good processing speed and storage.

I know you may be having some bad feelings about the phone because of your experiences using its old phones. Check the current Itel phones. You'll fall in love with them.

Bad sides

  • Despite having a good battery capacity and strength, its charger is nothing to write home about. I haven't seen a good Itel charger before. I feel their company needs to work on this.
  • Camera and video quality?? Yes, it has a sharp camera for photos and videos. If you check its latest, which is this City100, you'll love the clarity in photos, but that doesn't change the fact that after a year, the cameras do fade. It becomes white.

  • The processing speed is made, but we know what happens after a year plus. It begins to hang or behave abnormally.

Anyways, if you're looking for an android phone with a good battery capacity and strength, Itel may not be far off from you. If you need an affordable phone, one that fits your pocket, itel has got you covered.

Redmi or Xiaomi

Why aren't you a Redmi user? You need Redmi phones to deliver good pictures for your content on Steemit. I've been a Redmi user for years now, and I'm proud to be a local ambassador of the phone in my area. Speed, storage, camera quality, structure, screen? All these are perfect.

Most people don't really use Xiaomi phones because they're not as trendy as the Itel and Tecno in Nigeria. Let me tell you something unique about this Redmi phone.

Good sides

  • As a user, I can testify that I've used Redmi for years now, and I've not experienced it hang. Even when I have just 1.6GB storage, my phone still runs like water, though not as when I bought it.

1001101085.jpg

  • It has a high-watt charger which speeds up its charging, almost comparing speed with Samsung. One funny thing about the phone is that its charger is programmed for the phone. Any other charger won't give what a Redmi charger would give. Using the Redmi charger puts it on fast charging, while using another charger makes it charge like other Android phones.
  • It has its own camera, suitable for only Redmi phones, outside the one that comes with the main phone. Sometimes I compare it with an iPhone because the camera is just so giving. This is the phone I use to cover events and take photo sessions. I don't need a static camera when I have Redmi. So if you need a Redmi camera in your phone, just DM. You won't see it on the Play Store. Even after 2 years, its camera won't fade because it's a premium product.

1001071891.jpg1001071803.jpg

Bad sides

  • It doesn't have a good video quality from far. That's, the zoom length for videoing far places won't give you a good quality. You have to be close to what you're videoing to get HD quality, even at night.
  • It's not as affordable as an itel product.

So if you need a phone that charges fast and has a good charger and camera quality, Redmi has got you covered.

To avoid making this post lengthy, I'll give summaries of the other phone brands.

Tecno
  • Tecno is known for its sharp video quality. Like, you need to see its latest phone. Its camera can zoom your bones.
  • It charges fast and is very durable. All other phones can spoil but Tecno barely have issues.
  • It has amazing features in it like disrupter, tracking devices and car etc
  • Processing speed is one of the highest I've seen.

Bad side

  • The camera usually fades after a year since it's not a premium product.
  • The phone isn't durable in battery capacity.
  • It lags after a year of usage.
Infinix
  • It's the machine you've been looking for. It has a good and fast processing speed

  • It compares it's camera and video quality with tecno

  • It is durable and light. Not as heavy as Itel phones.

  • It also has a good battery capacity

1001098267.jpg1001098266.jpg

Bad sides

  • It's camera fades after a year

  • It doesn't have a strong charger compared to Tecno and Redmi

  • It lags after a year of usage

So dear friends, if you're looking for an android phone because of its camera, purchase a Redmi phone. If you're looking for a phone for good video quality, Samsung got you. If you're looking for a phone with good battery longevity, itel got you. A phone with good processing speed, Infinix got you. A phone with incredible internal features, Tecno got you. A phone with charging speed, Oppo got you. A phone you can afford? 😁

This post is somewhat related to @marvinvelasquez which I'll definitely participate in before the deadline.
