1️⃣What is your daily routine like? (From when you wake up in the morning until you go to bed).


In the morning, as soon as I wake up, after my personal hygiene routine, I have coffee and immediately get to work on the tasks I have already started or begin a new project. Although I am formally retired from teaching, I have never stopped researching the topics that have always fascinated me: language and literature in all their forms. At midday, once I have had lunch, I take a break of about an hour and a half, then I take my wife to work and, before returning home, I take the opportunity to do all the errands that are necessary for the smooth running of the household.

From four to six in the afternoon, I engage in activities related to composition, musical or poetic, a task that I have resumed in recent months, as I now have sufficient time to do so. At around seven in the evening, we usually have dinner at home; and after that last meal, I devote myself to Steemit for five or six hours, until it is time to go to bed.


2️⃣What health or eating habit has helped you the most?

Physical exercise...

I have always said that I am not in favor of strict health or eating plans, with restrictions that limit our ability to enjoy the activities or products we like best. But I am also aware that we should not fall into excesses. I am very careful not to overindulge in foods or drinks that can harm the body or engage in strenuous activities that exceed our physical capabilities or are not in line with our age.

So my habits are marked by moderation. By this I mean that I don't completely forbid myself from eating or drinking what I like, but I do have to take into account the frequency and quantity of what I consume; moderation is essential. Likewise, I am not one to rush to the doctor at the slightest sign of illness; however, I do get regular checkups and seek professional help when an ailment becomes serious.


3️⃣What do you do to manage your time or increase your productivity?

Time planning.

Although some people believe that routine becomes a repetitive pattern that makes life dull, I am convinced that only rigorous time planning allows us to increase our productive capacity. From my perspective, there are two essential factors for achieving greater effectiveness in the tasks we set ourselves: strict planning of our schedule and the tasks we plan to carry out, and crystal-clear objectives that we aspire to achieve.

If our time is well structured, we will avoid wasting hours on marginal tasks, on activities that are unrelated to the priorities we must address. And if our goals are well defined, it becomes much easier to determine the path and strategies that will lead us to success. If we take these two parameters into account, in addition to others, of course, that depend on our abilities or environmental conditions, we will increase our productivity.


4️⃣What is your most effective or favorite life hack that could benefit others?


The guiding principle that has governed my life since I became conscious is to only engage in activities that I am passionate about, that I like, and therefore enjoy learning and putting into practice everything related to that trade or profession. I cannot conceive of, and find it sad and bitter, that anyone should spend their entire life, or a large part of it, doing work that they dislike. If that is the case, they will feel no motivation to progress in those areas, to do better every day, in order to generate greater individual and social benefits or, above all, to feel proud of what they are doing. Above all, we must love what we do in order to feel fulfilled.
