Autosuggestion: A way to win
Don’t you think that most of us have something to suggest to each and everyone, whether they need it or not? Did you ever think that a person offering those great suggestions to others himself follows them, or does he give those suggestions to others and then forget?
Why not suggest something to yourself and follow it religiously?
That's right, we call this method as autosuggestion, which means we suggest something to ourselves that takes us out of it in case we are suffering from a particular problem.
There is no doubt about the simple fact that if someone is suffering from a certain problem or passing through a bad phase, then he loses control of his right senses. I remember reading Dr. Joseph Murphy, the author of “Power Your Subconscious Mind,” wrote on this topic. That is perhaps the most powerful book ever written in the self-help category (available on Amazon).
The author explains how your subconscious mind helps you come out of your stressful condition. I am sure Dr. Joseph, while suggesting this, had God in his mind, whom he thought helps you or provides you inner support, that is, if you have faith in God.
I have faith in God up to a certain extent, but being a professional, I will keep God out of this but keep my focus on 'autosuggestion.' I have very firm trust in autosuggestion, which, in my view, can change our lifestyle or way of working.
You must keep repeating a simple mantra in your mind that you will change your mindset, that even thinking about failure is not going to help, and that you wish to succeed in your next attempt. You will succeed in your next attempt provided you are positive in your mind.
As I said, Dr. Joseph Murphy himself believes that a man is capable of guiding himself by following this simple procedure of autosuggestion and, in the process, helping himself out of that bad situation.
A man fails only when he is not sure whether he will succeed in whatever he is planning to do. He fails at that very moment as soon as a negative thought comes to his mind.
What is autosuggestion?
Autosuggestion is a process in which a person can motivate himself in any way, positive or negative, because your mind keeps giving you thoughts that affect your behavior, feelings, and thinking.
Autosuggestion, as I said, suggests you can use thoughts and statements to motivate yourself in a particular direction. Here I would like to say that autosuggestion works without any logic or proof, and our minds accept them as they come without proof, especially when we are stressed or worried in any particular situation.
As I said, it can be both positive or negative; now it depends on you whether you should adopt them or not. So, I can only say that positive autosuggestion can boost self-esteem and alter bad habits. It is the best and most powerful way to achieve your goals, which helps you a long way.
You have a very good chance to win over the situation with the help of autosuggestion. Keep suggesting something good to yourself and see the result! It's a perfect idea for a subconscious adoption.
