Badarganj Upazila Hospital is located in the heart of Badarganj Upazila town of Rangpur district. It serves as an important institution for primary and emergency medical services for the local people. From here, the people of the village can easily get treatment. From Rangpur city, you can go directly to Badarganj Upazila Hospital by road, bus, CNG or private car. The location of the hospital can be easily identified when entering the upazila town. It is usually located near the Upazila Parishad and market areas, making it convenient for patients to travel.

Upon entering the interior, the first thing you see is an open courtyard, where there is seating for patients and relatives. Inside the hospital, there is an outdoor section, where general patients are treated. Patients come here by auto, rickshaw or ambulance throughout the day. There is also a maternity ward, children's ward, medicine ward and emergency department. Inside, the laboratory, pharmacy and doctor's room are arranged separately. There are 50 beds for patients, where they have the opportunity to be admitted and receive treatment.

This department is open on all days except Fridays and holidays. Specialists of various diseases sit here. They see regular patients. Patients are seen in this way in every upazila of Bangladesh. Dermatologists, sexologists, health, dentists and eye doctors sit here from Sunday to Thursday. You can see a doctor here for a fee of 2 taka or 0.01 steem. The doctor also conducts patient examinations here for free. Most of the medicines that the patient needs are given from the hospital, some medicines have to be purchased from outside. This hospital has its own medicine store.

If the doctor's prescription is submitted at this counter, free medicine is supplied from there. The patients are given medicine after verifying their description. Two doctors sit here to dispense medicine, who keep the counter open from 10 am to 12 pm and provide medicine for free. To get medicine from 10 am to 12 pm, you have to stand in line with the doctor's prescription at a specific time.

In case of sudden accidents, illnesses or complex situations, they can come here and get quick treatment. Skilled doctors and nurses in the emergency department are ready to serve patients around the clock.

	Ambulance Fee

There is no barrier day or night, patients can avail this service 24 hours a day. One MBBS doctor is on duty. This department of Badarganj Hospital has become a place of trust for the local people, especially in cases of accidents, obstetric problems, heart complications or any other emergency medical situation. But when complex problems arise, they immediately refer the patient to the divisional hospital.

At one time, when this disease was epidemic, almost all the upazila hospitals of Rangpur division had this leprosy treatment center. The hospital has become very famous because of this leprosy department. The outside of the leprosy treatment center is currently in a dirty state.

The hospital has a hall room where vaccines for corona and other epidemic diseases are given. Through this vaccine, the people of the area are protected from the epidemic.
