Rangpur Zoo is approximately 4.2 kilometers away from Rangpur Railway Station or can be reached from Shapla Chattar, which is about 2.6 kilometers away. It is located in Hanuman-tola area of ​​Rangpur city, on the east side of Police Line Road. It is also very close to the district administration office. It is a very well-known place and can be easily reached.

As soon as you enter the zoo, you can see a parrot cage on your right. There are two parrots here. The brightly colored feathers and beautiful body structure of the parrots in this cage attract visitors. Children and adults alike feel happy when they see this bird. As soon as I see the bird, I start taking pictures with my phone. There is an information board next to each cage. With a small information board next to the cage, you can learn about the bird's scientific name, diet, and habits.

I went to the zoo and saw these birds. They were very lively. However, I only saw female peacocks in the cage. This may have been done to prevent breeding. In another cage, I saw a rare species of mynah bird. It is rarely seen in Bangladesh today. There was only one mynah here. However, there were more roosters than other birds. The roosters were eating fish. There were two pheasants. It is likely that they have not started laying eggs yet. I saw pheasants eating nuts. To be honest, I really like petting birds. Then I moved forward from this bird's cage.

Small children are more attracted to watching monkeys. Due to which small children were the most crowded in front of the monkey cage. Many were feeding the monkeys nuts and many were feeding them biscuits and the monkeys were jumping from above to eat them, it was really nice to see them. Along with this, the mothers were watching the joy of the children.

When I went to the donkey cage, I saw that the donkey was crying. I left the donkey cage to see the python, but because there was a lot of crowd in front of the python cage, my cousin and I could not see the python. There was a lot of people there to watch the python eating. After waiting there for some time, I went to see a new animal.

This animal is seen sleeping most of the time. It always sleeps on a small roof or in a place made for it. This animal is a descendant of the tiger. It looks a bit like a cat. However, it seems to me that this animal sleeps more than a cat. I waited here for some time and read its life cycle, then I learned about its diet. I saw fish inside its cage. This animal probably eats fish.

The cage of the national animal Royal Bengal Tiger has very strict security. Due to which taking pictures is a bit tricky. That's why I couldn't take pictures properly here. You can see the meat inside the tiger cage. The tiger's roar in this cage was very scary. Many people here were afraid of the tiger's roar. Everyone in the zoo responds to the tiger's roar.

There was no sound in the lion's cage. There were two lions in one cage. There was a female lion and a male lion. There was beef in the lion's cage. Comparatively, lions roar less than tigers. However, I regretted not being able to see the lion properly. After that, I went to the last animal I saw, which was the hippopotamus.

The animal that can be seen at the end of the zoo is the hippopotamus. This hippopotamus was breathing very loudly in the water. This animal was coming up from the surface many times. Many small children were feeding this animal chips. This animal was given fish from the zoo. All in all, the zoo trip experience was amazing for me.
