Assalamu Alaikum everyone, I hope you are all well. By the grace of Allah, I am also well. The day was very beautiful, so I woke up early in the morning, performed ablution and prayed Fajr. My mind felt fresh after praying, so I took my phone in my hand and browsed Steemit for a while. Then, as soon as I entered Facebook, I saw all the news. Today is the first day of the Bengali year for Bengalis. We always want to make the first day of the Bengali year memorable. Let the year begin with new hope and new joy. This year's Pahela Baishakh was no exception for me.

Then, while having breakfast with my family in the morning, I thought about tradition. Panta rice, fried small hilsa, raw chili, onion and lemon slices were placed in front of me. Cold Panta rice on the side, the smell of which made me feel like I was really drawn to my roots. I understood right away that this is the real taste of Bengali New Year. This one-day meal had the smell of our soil, a touch of history and the love of the family.

I wondered how so much joy came in just one morning? Actually, the first day of the Bengali year is not just a day, it is a festival of our culture, our roots and love. That is why we remember this day every time, every moment.

We are Bengalis, so there is a lot of traditional history about this day that everyone needs to know. Pahela Boishakh is the first day of the Bengali New Year. On this day, the fatigue of the old year is shaken off and the new year is welcomed. Bengalis believe that the way the year begins will be the same, so the day is filled with joy, optimism and good wishes. Pahela Boishakh is one of the most important festivals of Bengali culture. On this day,

we wear new clothes, visit fairs, eat panta-hilsha and enjoy various cultural programs. This is a wonderful opportunity to express our folk culture, songs, dances and traditions. However, I avoid these things from a religious perspective. However, this is our Bengali tradition, which I loved very much as a child. Around noon, I went walking to the area next to us where there was a huge banyan tree. The banyan tree was spread over a large area.

The afternoon of the first day of Baishakh was quite hot. So, after eating panta-hilsha in the morning, my mind suddenly turned towards the ancient places of the village. While walking, I went to the old banyan tree in our area that I had heard was hundreds of years old.

Standing in front of the tree, I was stunned for a while. Huge body, thick leaves and numerous hanging roots, many of which had gone down to the ground and taken the shape of a new tree. As if it were not a tree but a family of banyan trees. I heard from people that this banyan tree is hundreds of years old. If you see the picture, you will believe it. Its branches have gone far and have formed like a few other trees.

I stood at the very bottom of the tree. The shade of the leaves above my head, the sound of birds chirping and a light breeze all around. As soon as I closed my eyes, I felt as if I had come to an ancient era. Time seemed to have stopped here.

Sitting next to a root, I began to think about how much history this tree had witnessed. How many generations had walked, talked and rested in its shade. This banyan tree was not just a tree, it was like a living memory of our village. Anyway, I didn't stay there for long, so I quickly came home and spent some time there. Then, after praying, I had lunch at noon and stood for a while near the house where the open air was blowing. In front was the green nature of the rice fields.

Then in the afternoon I went to the mosque and prayed Asr. Then I walked and stood in front of the rice fields. I felt very good in the midst of green nature. I stood in a quiet place and thought about how to capture this day a little differently.

That's when a fun idea came to mind: creative photography. I had an old smartphone with me. I took that phone in my right hand and turned on its camera as if it was watching something. Then I focused on the screen of that phone with the camera of my current phone and took a picture. The screen showed the scene in front of me, where green nature was under a cloudy sky.

I was surprised to see the picture. It seemed like it was not just a picture, it was like the door to a story. One camera was looking at time through the eyes of another camera, capturing it in a new way. Another frame within the frame, today's Baishakh is a little different. Anyway, I spent the afternoon there and went to my cousin's pharmacy and sat with him for a while.

At that moment, the Maghrib call rang, so I prayed towards the mosque. Then, when I got home, I got busy online. I read important news that was from Bangladesh and outside the country. Then, at night, I stood on the balcony of the mosque, looked at the sky, and saw the atmosphere and wanted to do night photography.

Then I stood here for a while listening to the sound of the call to prayer and came home to offer prayers on time and rested for a while. Today, many activities have happened in Bangladesh all day. I heard the sounds of many events in our area and neighboring areas. Where they celebrated Pohela Baishakh as Shuvo Doljatra. This is a special festival for Bengalis. However, when the night got late, I finished all my work. Then I fell asleep and finished writing today's diary game content and said goodbye to everyone.

Pohela Boishakh is a cultural festival of Bengalis. And to preserve Bengali culture, Panta Hilsa is eaten in the morning of Pohela Boishakh. After returning in the afternoon, you went to the field, since it is the rice season, it is very beautiful to see the green nature. The pictures you took were very beautiful. The pictures speak of the beauty of nature
