The Diary Game: Attending To My Sick Wife And Working In Shop (13/08/2025)

Hello my friends, it is not easy for me these days, my wife had been so sick so I have turned to a nanny overnight. She is having severe typhoid and malaria and I have to be around her so that incase she needs anything I will be there to help her out. But unfortunately I also needed to go to work, so after making sure I took care of her needs, I wore my clothes and went to work.

I couldn't eat because I lost appetite seeing my lovely wife bedridden, I can't even remember the year she was this sick and I am praying she gets over this sickness very soon as it is already bothering me too much. I had to just focus on laundering customer's clothes that morning, but I couldn't get my mind off the fact that my dear wife is back home sick and needed my help.

When It was 2pm, I was very hungry so I took my food flask and went toy the restaurant up town and bought food back home, I couldn't wait to eat at home also and secondly I don't just like the way my wife is sick that's why even while eating I was still thinking of her. So I bought the food and took it to the shop.

When I got back to the shop, I removed the food I bought, okay I bought afang soup and garri to come and eat. But before I could even start eating, a customer came in and told me he needed his clothes ironed so that he can travel with them, so I rushed in and ironed them, he paid me and then I went back to enjoy my meal. I ate and I was filled though I did not eat with clear mind as my wife was very sick.

After eating, I lied down on the shop's floor and slept off, last night I couldn't sleep because I had to stay up and used warm water to pat my wife's forehead, she was really running temperature as of that night so I couldn't sleep and leave her like that, that was the main reason I couldn't sleep .

When I woke up, I did small washing and laundry then I my wife to know how she was fairing and she told me she was recovering bit by bit, I was so satisfied with what I heard, my mood switched from sad to being happy, so I promised her I was going to come back early and cook rice for her which she has been craving for long now.

When evening finally came, I took my shoes and went back home, I had changed from the initial clothes I wore to work. Then I strolled back, when I got back home, she wasn't there and when I called, she told me she was coming back, so I started preparing the rice.

When my wife came back, it was remaining small for the food to be done so I boiled water for her to bath with it. When she bath, the rice was done and I dished it to her and we both ate then after that I came out to watch television. I couldn't watch for long because looking at the time it's late and I need to sleep early so that I can wake up early and work tomorrow.
