RE: How do you spell "snege"?
Yes, one. 😂🤣
I have experienced something similar in the examination hall. Can't remember the word that was giving me issues. Most be Australia and another word. I was stranded.
You know how strict examination supervisors can be. You can't turn to ask other students anything. And I was too embarrassed to call one of them to ask for help.
Somehow, I remembered the word after so many failed attempts.
You know the interesting thing?
I write every day. Every single day.
I publish articles and long-form content on my social media handles back-to-back. I do not use shorthand either.
To make matters worse, I play Scrabble professionally. But when it comes to writing, I use my phone with autocorrect on. Sometimes, it's Google voice doing the job.
Thinking again, I can remember something similar happening when I play Scrabble. You'd play DEID instead of DIED. Both are correct though. But there are other major mistakes like misspelling words like ETAERIO, ANESTRI or ANTSIER.
I have mixed up these words when I had a bingo. The aftermath wasn't pleasant.🤣
