Excellent article. It's not so much about fixing to get certain winners but more about a sound business model. Any true fan of sport that is objective surely must realize profit must always come before authenticity. At least in proffessional sports.

    I think the focus is on entertainment, which doesn't always naturally occur. Close games are more desirable than lopsided ones.
