Participate in this contest is one of the great thing done by me. All human love food and learning about new recipes. I am a fan of learning new recipes. It gives our kitchen new flavours.

As such I warmly welcome you to season 26 week 5 of the steemit learning challenge under Dough making challenge, the past weeks have been interesting, I am.motivated to join this week.

Make your own Alfajores, they can be filled or unfilled (include ingredients, quantities and step by step instructions)

Ingredients


  • Floor
  • Margarine.
  • Powdered sugar
  • Cornstarch.
  • 2 yolks.
  • 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon.
  • Just.
  • Arequipa.

Let start the practical together


In a clean dry bowl, I poured in my measured quantity of margarine, I beat, I added sugar and continue beating till become creamy.

My second procedure was add egg yolks, vanilla and mix very well. It looks watery but l continue knowing that my teacher said so.

In another clean bowl, I pour in my flour, cornstarch and cinnamon) I added them to my preparation in 3 parts (sifting the dry mixture).

I mixed a little too have a sandy dough, move and I place the dough on something non-stick, I use a clear white bag and cut it for this, I place the dough and on top the other part of the bag and proceed to stretch, the ideal thickness is half a centimeter as was instructed.

I put this dough stretched between the bags in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

My next step was cutting them in a circles and place them on a baking tray, on top of baking paper.

I preheated my oven to 180 degrees and I take the tray from the refrigerator directly to the oven. My oven take 13 minutes only and the back was brown.

I allow them to cool well and I fill them with
dulce de leche. I package them inside piping bag and apply it, I play it small because it is our first time of consumption. Tasting it,it was sugary already.

I continue the finishing touches with powdered sugar. Hmmmm, it was appealing to the eye but sugary to the mouth.

When you tried the alfajores, what was your experience like? Did you like them? Explain your answer in detail.

This is my first time of preparing alfajores, it is my first time of consumption. In my region, this is unfamiliar.

While baking, I was waiting for the bum with so much anticipation. But the outcome was 💯 excellent, I enjoyed the way it melts in your mouth, I loved them and everyone at home loved them too.

Since,we don't really love much of sugary, we go the unfilled. I will add the unfilled alfajores to my food menu.

All of my family members appreciate my alfajores and my efforts of learning new things. I was happy about my mother in-law scores, she said you first attend is impressive. If you want to make it for commercial purposes you will definitely excel, my heart 💜 delighted.

What has been your favorite hands-on challenge?

I liked them all so much, this dough challenge expose me and family members to different healthy snack we can hygienically prepare and consumed instead of getting most of them in the super stores.

For the past Four weeks plus this week Five my favourite dough is cinnamon rolls. I was extremely dough, after my practical sessions, I was unable to open my eyes and face Device screen.

With time,I will still share it in my blog, which will help me to practice it in the near future.

Talk about the flavour it was aromatic, different health benefits was discovered. It was a Sweet,soft and swirly, the cinnamon flavour filled every way in the kitchen and the topping make it salivating.

I love how these alfajores turned out, you're very skilled at making sweets. This is one of my favorite desserts, you've done a great job. I also admire you for daring to try something new that you didn't know how to make and that isn't very common in your region.
