The Diary Game: Performing My Wifely Duties (14-09-2025)

When I woke up and decided to prepare to go to church, my hubby had gone to church and left us at home. He dropped money for us to pay for transport to the church. One issue I don't like when it gets to morning like this is that sometimes my son won't want to stand up from bed when it's time; I have to use a cane, and right now I want to try out a new form of punishment. When I was able to wake him up, I brushed his mouth, and then soup was ready for us to eat and go to church.

When we finished and went to church, hubby was shocked that within a short period of time we were able to finish up and join him in church. Church service was amazing, but I was thinking it was the junior pastor that was going to preach. Unbeknownst to me, it was the GO that preached today, and it was really fire and brimstone.

When church service came to an end, I stayed back and attended our Women's Fellowship meeting. We discussed so many things that have been bothering the women's wing of the church. The quarterly meeting that couldn't be held for the last quarter was held today, and every report, including the financial report, was being presented to the General Overseer for reassessment.

Even when I stayed back and attended the meeting, I was still able to go back home before my hubby; I guessed he branched somewhere while coming back from church. I had to warm rice so that we could eat and then wait for me to cook. Fortunately for my hubby, he came back and met us eating, so he joined us but did not eat much. After he dropped his spoon, he went to the store to buy rice so that we could eat.

When he left, I also got a detergent and hypo bleach so I can remove some stubborn stains on my clothes and that of my son's clothes. We were coming back home when a car splashed us with water from the other end; she actually apologized and told us she never meant to do such a thing. I forgave her and asked my son to forgive her as well, and I know he did.

When I finished washing the clothes, I went to the kitchen and began to prepare the rice. Thanks to God that my hubby had selected the rice before he left to go and watch football. There was nothing much to do apart from steaming the meat and getting things done. It would've been stressful if I were the one selecting the rice.

When I finished cooking, I called my hubby to come back home so that we could eat together, but he told me he wasn't done with what he was doing, so I ate it with my son before I bathed him and took my own bath.

I went to visit my friend at her shop, but when I got to her shop, I couldn't find her there. I had to search around, and then lo and behold, she was there at the other compound locking her hair. The hair is very long, and I do admire her hair honestly; I wish I had the kind of hair she carries.

When I came back home, I made the bed and went on to lie down. I reflected on how my day went, and I was grateful to God for putting me through such a beautiful day, going to see more glorious days ahead, even 100 times better than today.
