The Diary Game: Working Full Shift Today At Work (18-09-2025)

After being at the farm throughout yesterday, it was another day for me to go to work. Mind you, yesterday I actually gave asked my colleague to stay in for me so today, I had to also make sure I stay in for her and work throughout the day. This was when I went to work in the morning.

When I went to work, I was all alone and secondly I was stressed, I did not even have time last night to rest because I had to make sure I prepared food that will take us at least of two days or more before I had time to rest and this morning again I had to wake up early so that I can prepare my son, took him to school before going to work.

When I got to work, I cleaned everywhere by myself and also attended to customers all by myself. It was around 10am that one of my colleagues came to work, and she called in early in the morning that she was resuming late because of her husband's faulty car and where she is living is a little bit farther from where i am working.

In the afternoon, I was even beginning to regret why I did not go to work on Wednesday and now I am really going to stay till evening before going back home to my own family. When my boss called in and asked why I was in the office and taking two shifts today, I explained to him and he told me I should make sure I close early because of my condition and right here was me lying down on the desk while at work.

Good thing is; when the customers came, they asked for drugs that were already in the counter and not the ones that wasn't in the counter so I didn't have to climb upstairs to and fro looking for drugs to bring down to the shop to shelf. When the afternoon shift guys came, I still had to stay because I was staying two good shifts today.

I had already called hubby to make sure he takes our son from school because I won't be going back early. Then I stayed till my shift collapsed by 7pm and I went back home. The sky was beginning to get dark and people were going back to their different homes, the city was bloomy and you can see it from this image.

When I came back to the house, my hubby was so worried of my health and immediately he saw me, he told me he was so relieved as he has been thinking how I was fairing. I told him I was okay but hungry, so he gave me the roasted chicken he made and then I ate it before I ate the rice he prepared.

My hubby is the kind of man that will stop at nothing to give me a baby girl's treatment and I like that part of him. After eating all the goodies, I took my bath and before that, I got my toiletries over the counter and then it's a day for me, how about you?
