Greetings to you all Farmers,it a special greetings because I know how special Farmers are in production area,it a season that some crops enjoy whereas others do experience shot growth which is an effect to them

INTRODUCTION

In my own perspective, heavy rain fall is a time or season that we experience a total raining, I cause a lot of damage and destruction to crops. This heavy rainfall serious detrimental effects on Agricultural Project and produce, it leads to yield reduction, crop damage, and increased risk of diseases. This cause water log in some portions of agriculture activities, the excessive moisture can also hindering the root respiration and nutrient uptake. Also the high humidity of this rain water can promotes fungal and bacterial diseases. The strong winds also lead s to plant lodging, further impacting yield.

There are other things that will be noticing during the season of heavy rain fall, but in my own writing,I want to touch the area of waterlogging My little details about waterlogging and Root Damage,it is pertinent that heavy rainfall can saturate the soil that leads to waterlogging. This attitude heavy rain do restricts oxygen supply to plant roots and at the same time hindering their ability to absorb water and nutrients. This actions do weakening the plants seriously.

Disease Risk: Looking at some topography of the land where agriculture activities are ongoing, the high humidity and moisture create favorable conditions for the development and spread of fungal and bacterial diseases.

Another effect of this heavy rain is strong winds that follows the heavy rainfall do cause plants to bend or break from its original portion, this is phenomenonally called lodging, it's disrupts photosynthesis, reduces yield, and make harvesting more difficult.

Another effect of heavy rain is soil Erosion, this is so common in my area Akwa Ibom State Nigeria to be precise South South region Heavy rainfall have caused a lot of soil erosion, which carry out the activities of washing away topsoil and valuable nutrients that plants need for growth.

In another looks it's delays Planting and harvesting, the excess rain can make it difficult or impossible to plant or harvest crops at the optimal time.
This will surely leads to delayed maturity and reduced yields.

The effect also touched the losses ot nutrient in the soil, the heavy rainfall will cause nutrient leaching, where essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and others are washed away from the soil, reducing soil fertility this frustrate farmers .
The activities also caused crop damage, it's physically damages crops through strong winds, hail, or flooding that leads to direct losses.

Thank you all for reading my post, Great Famers, Great Nations.
