Hello friend! After a long time, it rained all day today, happy rainy day to everyone. I am jubayer95 from Bangladesh. Today, I will write something to you about a pond. The pond is located next to the Bhuiyan Bari Mosque in Ghorachara village, Sirajganj Sadar Police Station. In Sirajganj district, Ghorachara village has one of the most famous places. And behind this famous place, all the people who have contributed. They are the descendants of this Bhuiyan family. Haji Nuruddin Bhuiyan, who was a well-known and ethical chairman during the British rule. This pond is also currently owned by the children of this Haji Nuruddin Bhuiyan.

Since the ownership of this pond is now in the hands of a few people, they lease the pond annually. The lease price of this pond for the past two years was 75 thousand taka. In the current new term, the pond has been leased again, for the next two years for 90 thousand taka. Which is leased by a respected uncle of mine. And there are about four acres of land around this pond, including the banks. That is, 400 hundred. If we say it differently, then we have to say 12 bighas. One of the current uses of this pond is that fish fry are cultivated here, that is, when the eggs are released in this pond and the fish fry grow a little, they are sold as seeds to other fish farmers and farmers.

As I saw yesterday morning. ‌ On one side of the pond is the Bhuiyan Bari Mosque, where I perform the duty of imam for prayers. After the Fajr prayer, I noticed that fishermen were bringing their nets to collect fish fry from the pond. And various farmers from far and wide had come to collect fish fry from here. As much as it is a pleasure to catch fish, it is also a great pleasure to watch the scenes of fishing. So I stood and waited to see the scenes of fishermen fishing.

By the infinite mercy of Allah, there have been so many fish in the pond, it is heart-warming to see. The smaller the net gradually became, the more the fish jumped and jumped. The scenes were truly extraordinary to watch. As the net was pulled, it finally reached a corner. And the movement of the fish filled my heart.
How the farmer brothers who came from afar to buy fish fry gathered their minds from here. One fisherman brother was measuring the fish from inside the pond into a bowl, and another fisherman brother was getting out of the pond and pouring it into the drums kept in the vans of the farmers standing on the road.

One of the reasons for writing about this pond is that the pond is very beneficial for the general public in the village. Because the water in the pond is very clear and clean. Due to which many people bathe here. Especially in the month of Chaitra and the month of Baishakh when there is no water in other ponds. And due to the lack of water, many people find it difficult to bathe. But this pond also has water in the month of Chaitra and remains clean and tidy. Therefore, it is a very beneficial pond for the majority of the people in the village. Also, when there is a water shortage in the mosque located next to the pond, the worshippers can perform ablution, bath, etc. in this pond.

Finally, I think that every village and every neighborhood should have one such pond. And it is the responsibility of all of us to take care of such a pond.
