Nature & Agriculture contest : “Leaf crafting”
Greetings everyone,
By making leaves, it is possible to create something tangible from the fleeting beauty of nature. These collected leaves can be used in a variety of projects, from simple leaf rubbings that show the fine details of leaf veins to more complex work, such as using leaves to create people or animals. Young children should explore the lines while working with texture and color by printing leaves in paint or making collages with natural resources.
More advanced projects can include making leaf bowls with Mod Podge, making decorative wreaths, or even making suncatchers by placing leaves in wax paper or coffee filters. The leaves can be preserved in glycerin or Mod Podge so that they can be displayed for a long time. It is often educational as well, as my wife talked about color theory with autumn colors. How she learned the anatomy of leaves during a craft. I watched my grandmother make palm leaves into patis or chatis. So, let's learn and see the leaf craft this time.
