Greetings, Everyone. I am @mostofajaman from Bangladesh.

Assalamu Alaikum friends, I hope everyone is well, I am well, Alhamdulillah. Today I have come before you to share some of my real experiences with you. I made a project in the past few days to cultivate pearls in oysters. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful there. This cement tank was empty for a long time. One day, while watching videos on my mobile, I saw a video of fish farming in cement tanks. I was very curious about it and I started researching.

I can't tell you some of the initial events. The most profitable fish farming in cement tanks is Vietnam koi fish. It can be marketed in a short time, so I became interested in it. About a month ago, I ordered 1100 koi fish online from a hatchery in the distant Jessore division and put them in my tank. I didn't have any real experience, so there was a lot of ammonia gas in the water for 10 to 15 days and some of my fish also died then. Later I did treatment there as per the doctor's advice and after 15 days the ammonia gas in my water was completely gone. Since then I have not had any problems in my monthly tank, Alhamdulillah. I use potassium and salt as disinfectants. To prevent ammonia I use Geo Light and Molasses in the right quantity.

When the fish were dying due to ammonia I was very worried and frustrated. Which greatly hindered me from becoming an entrepreneur. I couldn't find what to do because the fish were dying one after another in front of my eyes I couldn't do anything I felt very bad. After that I changed the water several times and continued the treatment then I was able to remove the ammonia gas.The biggest enemy of fish farming in cement tanks is ammonia gas. If you can control it, you will definitely achieve success, InshaAllah.

Now my fish are about a month old, I have overcome many obstacles and some fish have even died, but I have kept trying. There is a lot of phytoplankton in the water and adequate food is given on time.

I have spread a net on top so that the garbage outside cannot get into the water. Today I went into the water and caught the fish. First I fed the fish. After feeding, I went down into the water with a rice paddy and caught the fish. Today the fish are one month old. The fish can be marketed in three and a half months. Vietnamese koi fish grow very quickly and are very disease-free.

I went down into the tank today to check how the fish have grown and whether there has been any disease or pest attack, how much ammonia gas is in the water, and what is the amount of mud. After observing everything, I saw that the fish are growing very nicely and there is no gas in the water and they are very happy here and their enthusiasm is always very much when eating food.

I gave the fish when they were 1 inch and today each fish is about 4 inches. However, many of these fish have grown a little too much and there are many fish that are very small. There are 90% of medium-sized fish and the rest are 10% of different sized fish.

To provide sufficient oxygen, I am using an air pump. It has four nozzles through which the water can be pumped and the oxygen is mixed with the water. However, in the case of these fish, it is not necessary to provide much oxygen because they themselves come to the surface and take oxygen. However, it is still used because fish need a lot of oxygen in the water for growth. I have placed the air pump in a bowl where even if it rains, water will not be able to enter. After observing everything, I came out of the water and fed the fish again. They took everything normally and started eating.

I feed the fish three to four times a day, in the morning, afternoon and around 2 pm. At night, when I feed the fish, the fish come up and the fish can be seen clearly with a flashlight and the fish seem to be counted. In the light of the torch light, it is very clear how many fish are in the water and as soon as they see the light, they quickly run away. When the light is turned off, they come back to eat. One of the joys is that I enjoy doing these very much and I enjoy it very much. At night, when I close the shop and go home, I go home between 12 and 2 pm. Then I feed the fish at night and watch YouTube videos. I feed them little by little and when they are finished, I feed them again. In this way, I spend more time with the fish at night.

All in all, now I have about 1000 fish in my fish tank which I will be able to market in two and a half months, God willing. If there is no disease or pest, then I am successful. I have spent 5000 taka on 1100 fish here so far by buying fish fry medicine and food. In the next two months, I will spend another 2000 taka on feeding them. My cost will be 7 to 8 thousand taka on the fish and if I can produce 65 kg of fish from here, it will be 13 thousand taka according to the current market price. My cost will be 7000 taka and the total income will be 13 thousand taka. My salary and other expenses will be 6 thousand taka. Then my profit will be 6000 taka and if it is converted into steem, it will be 315 steem. When I sell these fish, I will increase the quantity of fish in the future and there will be a possibility of making more profit. However, I hope that I will get about 80 kg of fish from here and the possibility of making more profit will be higher.

However, I have converted my oyster project into a fish project and have been able to come this far through many obstacles and diseases. Now I hope that no further dangers will occur and I will be able to profit from fish farming and I now consider myself a successful entrepreneur. Thank you all.
