Nicol needs to take a look at the shot stats. 34 shots, two goals and two thirds of the shots off target is just beyond terrible. Atletico had 11 shots to three goals. That is 5 and something % vs a little over 30% shot to goal efficiency. And you can't expect to win a game if those are the stats, because naturally the other team's shots are five times more efficient than yours. Blaming the keeper is a tabloid take. Abysmal finishing is why they lost.
