Steemit is filling up with games of all kinds. So far, none of them have interested me enough to play them. However, in this SLC 27, our friend @sergeyk decided to teach how to play OPEN TTD. A digital, open-source version of a very popular video game from the 1990s. Transport Tycoon Deluxe

The open-source version of Open TTD is still a simulation game, in which players try to make money by creating transportation companies: passenger transport, minerals (and diamonds), and other types of goods and products, whether by road, rail, water, or air.

Ease of configuring each world (biome)

I've been playing it for three weeks now. It's difficult, but you learn with practice and the guidance of the SLC instructor. There are also many tutorials and even a Wiki for those who want to consult.

I like it; it reminds me of playing "Cars" and having miniature trains. I'm going to continue playing it on my own once I've finished SLC 27 #openttd. Playing it takes steps. The first step is setting the environment or climate (they're called biomes in the game). It gives you several options, the main ones being desert climate, winter climate, and tropical climate. You can configure many parameters for each climate.

You can become a Transport Tycoon

Then your skills and experience as a "manager" come into play. It's good to study the existing resources and companies in the created world so you can plan your company's different services and transportation routes.

In week 3 of this challenge, I worked with diamonds, and the company, under my management, was considered the most profitable company of the century (of course, I was the only one 😂😂😂). But the game has its multiplayer competition mode. We haven't gotten to that yet, but I'll keep you posted.
