What do you understand by vertical farming

So vertical farming is a method of growing crops vertically line in order to save resources as well as for beauty. This method is used.

Advantages :

Round production throughout the year without considering weather.
Large amount of crops.
Less use of resources.

Benefits of Vertical Farming

So the benfits of verticle farming are ;

Less Use Of space :

Mean the in a verticle farming less amount of land is used becuase in this method only crops are growned on verticle line.

Less Use Of Water :

The crops are growned on verticle line making the yield less .SO automaticall less water will be used.

Without Keeping The Temp in mind :

This farming can also be done indoor then their would be not considerance of temperature.

Lesss Use Of Pesticides :

When the crops are growned in vertical line means the less land is used then the pestecides also be use less than traditional farming.

Large Yiels And Fast Growth Of Crops :

If the crops are growned verticall then the crops would be produced more efficiently and the larger the yiels willl be.

The challenges faced during vertical farming are as under ;

High Startup Cost :

For vertical farming there is need of a big investement for light shelves etc.

Much Use Of Electricity :

In vertical farming in indoors will require high electricity for lighting system and also for climate controlling system etc.

Maintenance Of System :

The lighting System and also climte controllling like system would also requir maintance and for mantainance their is need of money.

Waste Management ;

Verticle farming requires less water for the groeth of crops but still their is wate of plants etc.

Complex Technology:

Their in verticle farming some tecnologie are used such as climate controlling system and it need right program and also the best tecnology could be decided which make it complex little bit.
