I am so much excited to participate in this contest organised by @xkool24 in steem-agro community. Here is my opinion on the above contest.

Fish is one of the most popular edible animals. We love to eat it because it contains protein. Many people who rear this livestock make a living by selling it to final consumers in the market. Fish is affordable in the Nigerian market compared to meat, which is so expensive.

There are different kinds of fish, such as catfish, hake, crayfish, tilapia, sardine, bluefish, and so on. We love to eat panla, also known as European hake fish, especially the smoked one if it is roasted with peppers. This fish gives us the best taste with any food it is served with.

In any Nigerian occasion, such as a wedding ceremony, naming ceremony, and graduation, celebrities usually serve fish with fried rice so that we can enjoy the unique flavor. Fried fish promotes family gatherings because it is a choice for some people within the family, and it also allows each and every one of us to speak freely while enjoying the meal.

Fish are used to cook traditional soups such as egusi, especially if we eat them with pounded yam. Fish like to eat insects in the water and anything else, including their fellow fish, and this typically happens when the fish are very hungry.

In Kebbi State, the Yankari Game Reserve normally organizes an annual event where those who catch big fish are rewarded with cash. The most interesting part of it is that no fishermen are allowed to fish for a period of one year. We value fish a lot because it gives us the nutritional value we need.

I would like to invite @josepha, @entity01, and @steemdoctor1 to join me.
