What Do You Understand by Deforestation

Deforestation to me I would say is like when the forest cries and no one listens. It happen when trees are cut down or burn away till the land stand empty. Sometimes people say they do it for farming or to build houses, but I feel it more like taking the clothes off the earth. Without those trees, the ground looks naked, sad even. Some persons chop trees to sell the wood or make space for roads, but in doing that they forget how much life depend on those forests. Each time I hear the sound from chainsaws, I wonder how many trees has been fallen already, where do the birds fly to, they are chased away from their home. deforestation is not only about the trees gone, but all about losing the natural fresh air,(because plants filters the bad air and sends out fresh air for human being) cool shades, and the songs of the wind through the leaves. It’s like a slow sickness that spread across nature. My mind flies to how green used to mean life, and now some places just brown dust. That’s my own view on deforestation, When deforestation is practiced, people not only cut down the trees in the forest, but cut away a part of the world’s heart.so deforestation should not be practiced.

What Are the Dangers of Deforestation

When the forest disappears, problems start walking in like uninvited guests. The weather start acting strange, too hot sometimes, then rain don’t fall when it should. I notice how air feels thicker, dirtier, because fewer trees clean it. The animals, oh, they suffer the most. Many lose their homes, some wander till they die because food no dey anymore. Even humans not safe. When trees no hold the soil, erosion carry the land away, making farms useless. I once saw how flood destroy people houses after heavy rain, and someone say it was because the forest near there was cut down. It makes sense, trees protect the ground like mothers protecting their child. Without them, the soil runs off, and then drought comes too. Some areas turn into dry wasteland, no crops, no shade, nothing to hold life. Deforestation also makes our climate hot, makes breathing hard, and even bring sickness. It’s not just danger to trees, it’s danger to everything breathing under the sky. Sometimes, I think the earth coughs because of what we doing to it.

How Can Deforestation Be Reduced

I believe we still got chance to fix it, maybe not all, but some part of it. First, we can plant trees back, even small ones matter. Every seed is like a promise that tomorrow might still be green. People who cut down trees should plant new ones to replace them, that fair enough. Government can make rules stronger, not just write them on paper but actually make people follow. Farmers can learn to grow crops without clearing too much land, using ways that save soil and trees together. We can use things wisely, not waste wood or paper like before. I try not to throw papers anyhow, and I tell my friends same thing. Even teaching others why trees are important can change how they act. When people understand, they protect better. Companies too should stop destroying forest just to make money. Nature is not a thing to use, it’s something we belong to. I always feel peace when I walk under trees, the air soft and quiet. Imagine a world without that—it’ll be like breathing in sadness. So I think at this point if everyone, whether big or small, just decide to give a little care to the forest just a little bit , deforestation can actually slow down. Maybe one day, the forests will sing again, and the world will breathe easy once more.
