Goat are domestic animals found around us; they understand human beings. Goats are known for their bleating sound which they use in communicating and expressing themself. Goat are bred for different purposes such as companionship, producing milk and meat.

Goats are not capital-intensive for a farmer to maintain; they require low investment, making it easier for the farmer.
Goat excrement is a rich source of manure for growing plants on the farm. When a farmer incorporates goat breeding in his farm, getting this manure as a natural fertiliser becomes cheap to get.
Goats help in clearing bushes by feeding on them, which gives space for other agricultural uses. This can also be a means of weeding out the farm.

Mutton(goat meat) are quite tasty and nutritious but rearing goats entail a lot especially when you have a good number of them in your pen. This days in Nigeria, many people can't afford a good quantity of its meat unlike before due to the hike in its value. A mature goat that was sold for 15-20 thousand naira is now more that 40 thousand naira, I wonder were we are heading to.
I would like to have that dried goat meat 😄😄, all the best @chilaw
Yeah, goat meat has a good taste and it's nutritious. I like it. There is no doubt that goat are expensive these days, due to the state of the economy, which has led to an increase in the price of many items. We hope it gets better.

hello 😊 That's right, goats do provide many benefits for farmers. In addition to being easy to raise and not requiring a lot of capital, the benefits of manure really help fertilize the land naturally. I also like the part about goats being able to help clear bushes, this is a natural solution for weeding the land. The fast reproductive cycle of goats is also clearly beneficial. Hopefully more farmers will utilize goats in their farming systems!"
Yes, goats are a beneficial animal to rear. Lots of farmers who have understood its benefits now invest in it.
