Arrays of Agricultural topics 👉Choose-Write-Post#25
Greetings and warmest welcome to my blog, it's @emmaboy23 once again with another creative drawing for this contest titled: " Arrays of Agricultural topics 👉choose-write-post #25" organized by @hive-118902. Art has long served as a powerful medium to reflect, preserve, and celebrate the essence of everyday life. In the realm of agriculture, art becomes a silent storyteller, portraying the people, animals, tools, and environments that define farming culture. In my recent drawing I made a drawing of a rooster popularly known as cock, This tutorial shows how art can beautifully reflect agriculture and its vital connection to everyday life. Below are the steps taken into achieving this drawing.
Drawing materials
• A4 paper
• HB pencil
• 2B Pencil
• eraser
• sharpener
• black colour pencil.
step by step guide
step 1
First i began by gathering all my materials, make sure it is ready for use and then i started by lightly sketching the head.
step 2
After doing that, next i then added details to the face of the rooster and also began to draw the body as well.
step 3
Now comes the exciting part where i added the details that bring the rooster to life. Using a combination of 2B and HB pencils, i start drawing the feathers. Feathers near the head and neck are usually smaller and denser, while those on the wings and tail are longer and more layered
step 4
In this step, i finished drawing the leg of the rooster and also the grass it was standing on.
step 5
Here, i Used a slightly darker pencil, such as 2B, to carefully define the beak, comb (the fleshy crest on the head), eyes, wings, and tail feathers. I kept my hand light and steady and Made sure the lines are clean and accurate. At this point, the rooster should begin to take a recognizable shape.
step 6
To give the drawing depth and realism, i darken the opposite areas. I Used a 6B pencil for the darkest shadows under the wings, between feathers, and around the legs. This contrast makes the drawing more three-dimensional and natural. And my drawing is complete.
Below is a selfie of i and my drawing.
By following these steps, you can turn a simple pencil and paper into a powerful piece of art that connects with agriculture in a meaningful way. This drawing of a rooster captures more than just a farm animal—it tells a story of life on the land, using the timeless language of pencil art. I hope you all enjoyed my drawing for today and have a nice day.

You know the funny part about this art drawing.... There was a time I wanted to participate in a drawing contest but I just had to go through some of the participants and my guy..... They finished work. I had to rethink what I want to do whether I will even be able to be among...... Their drawing too good 🤣🤣
That makes me realize that sometimes the drawing is not just about winning but its talent. I may say you're among them....... Calm down make your head no burst...... Na so I take tell @missyleo she doesn't allow me rest again. Anyway thank you for inviting me though I don't what else to compliment you of.... At least I said Well-done.
I will like to try this with a pen...... Do you like drawing with a pen or you just flow with pencil?
Technically i draw with both and you should try it sometimes
