Bengali in fish and rice
This saying seems to fit Indonesia as well, as our country has a large proportion of the population in the countryside also working as fishermen and farmers.
The Bengali saying "fish and rice" is true in its true sense, the Bengali relationship with fish and rice is long. Another main reason is that Bangladesh is a riverine country, where both rice and fish are readily available. Thank you for your comments.
