I'm from Russia, my country is huge, its territory covers 11 time zones, when Westerners go to bed, it's the morning of the next day in the east! The weather conditions are different throughout the territory. Somewhere there is a long, frosty and snowy winter, and somewhere there is almost no snow cover and the temperature barely drops below zero. Therefore, the agricultural sector in my country is developed in different directions: crop production, animal husbandry, fisheries and forestry. Где-то длинная, морозная и снежная зима, а где-то почти не бывает снежного покрова и температура едва опускается ниже нуля. Поэтому в моей стране аграрный сектор развит в разных направлениях: растениеводство, животноводство, рыбохозяйство и лесное хозяйство. -	-

Camel	Верблюд

As part of the contest, I will tell you about camels, which are rare in our region. In my area, I know of only one small farm with only five camels.	В рамках конкурса расскажу вам о верблюдах, которые в нашем регионе редкость. В своей области я знаю только одну не большую ферму, где есть всего пять верблюдов.

Camels mainly live in arid parts of the planet, in deserts, semi-deserts and steppes, so these animals are an unusual species for our area.	Верблюды в основном живут в засушливых частях планеты, в пустынях, полупустынях и степях, поэтому для нашей местности эти животные являются диковинным видом.

Camels are very hardy and very unpretentious animals and can eat any vegetation: from grass to rough branches of various trees. They have a well-developed sense of smell. For example, a spring with water in the desert, they can feel for 50 – 60 km. They also have a rather unusual nose structure.	Верблюды очень выносливые и совсем неприхотливые животные и могут употреблять в пищу любую растительность: от травы до грубых веток разных деревьев. У них хорошо развито обоняние. Например, источник с водой в пустыне, они могут почувствовать за 50 – 60 км. А еще у них довольно необычное строение носа.

The nostrils are narrow and covered with a special fold. Due to this, the moisture that appears and evaporates during breathing flows into the mouth. The camel's sense of smell does not suffer, and it is protected from dehydration.	Ноздри узкие и как бы прикрыты особой складочкой. Благодаря этому, влага, которая появляется и испаряется при дыхании, стекает в рот. Обоняние не страдает, а сам верблюд защищен от обезвоживания.

We came to the farm just in time for the spring molt, and some of them looked a little untidy. Their fur hung in shreds. But it's worth talking about. The camel's coat consists of two layers: warm down and outer hair. This coating protects the animal from overheating in the sun, as well as from night and winter cold. Camel's hair benefits not only him, but also people. It is used in the treatment of neuritis, fractures, arthritis, neuralgia and rheumatic pains. Dust does not stick to it, which is very useful for asthmatics and simply for the prevention of upper respiratory tract diseases.

Их покров состоит из двух слоев: теплый пух и наружный волос. Такое покрытие защищает животное как от перегрева на солнце, так и от зимних холодов. Шерсть верблюда приносит пользу не только ему, но и людям. Ее используют при лечении невритов, переломов, артритов, невралгии и ревматических болей. К ней не пристает пыль, что очень полезно для астматиков и просто для профилактики болезней верхних дыхательных путей.

Camels produce very healthy milk, which is considered healthier than cow's milk. When the milk is poured, it begins to foam because of its thick consistency, but the milk is not greasy, but nutritious and stays fresh for a long time.
