S24W4: Human Body.

Hello friends, it's another week to try out something new. It was a little tasking for me but I know I tried though...

Materials

• A paper
• A pencil
•An eraser

✏️ Choose a pose in which you want to represent your human body drawing, and make a sketch that respects the shape and proportions to achieve a good result. Explain and show the steps.

I decided to draw a young lady with a nice pose. I made a sketch by drawing two crossed lines and adding an oval shape to it for the head, then two circles that would like the shoulders and then two more circles for where the hands would be placed and the legs too.

I went further to make another crossed line and then adding a curve to it to form the buttocks.

✏️ Next, draw the outline of the body using the sketch you made previously so you can realistically recreate the muscles and different body parts (whether female or male). Explain and show the steps.

I started by joining the face and brining it dow to the neck and to the two circles at the shoulder, I joined them making a straight line inbetween. I moved down to the hand which already had circles at it's points and added them to form the thick muscles.

From the buttock, I made a curve joining the laps to the leg to give it a firm look. The knee was created using a circle to join it down to the leg.

I also joined the second hand with the circles up to the face point to achieve a pose.

I had to make my joining lines thicker for it to be more visible. This way you can tell the pose of my drawing.

✏️ Proceed to shade your drawing in a simple but aesthetic way, in which you offer areas of darkness and illumination for a more realistic result, avoiding marked lines and achieving good blurring (You can use colors if you like).

I added the other parts of the body; the eyes, the nose, mouth, the hair to show it's sex, I guess I am not so good here but I tried my best. It was a bit difficult to get these done.

My shading was light except for few places that needed a dark shade. Using my hb pencil, I shaded the parts of the body and also shaded the clothe and gave a design to the up wear. I went further to draw an eyeglass to the face as the pose requires it and then shaded it out.

I gave a light shading at the background just to look better.

✏️ Show a selfie of yourself with your drawing, which must include your username and the date it was created.

Finally, I added my username and date to the side of the drawing and took a selfie with my drawing.

It was all fun today trying out something new. My challenge was trying to add the eyes, the nose and the mouth. I didn't know how to get them fixed and so I had to do what came to my mind.
