SLC S25W1: Drawing Kodomo Anime.

This piece started as a quick sketch and turned into something much more detailed than expected. You can tell me what you see in this piece, I love different interpretations.

I see these drawings often everywhere bit never knew the name, well I'm glad I could join the challenge and do something inspiring.

✏️ Choose a character of your choice that belongs to the Kodomo Anime genre, mention which series said character belongs to.

Amongst the various kodomo anime taught, I chose the "kawaii and Chibi" representing both in one drawing. I had to replicate the teacher's drawing because I loved it and decided to give it a shot.

With the kawaii style, I created the rounded face and the large and bright eyes. It looked so sweet and tender. And with the chibi style I made the small body that looked disproportionate with a large head.

• Using my materials, I made a simple sketch for a start by drawing an oval shape head and a skeletal figure below.

• I went ahead to make some adjustments in the head by adding the floating hair, the bally ones and the projecting eyes with the bally mouth.

• I made the body sketch by adjusting the skeletal body drawn previously. I made a sketch of the legs to finalize the sketch.

✏️ Create simple shading (either with colored or graphite pencils) to achieve even better results. Show and explain step by step instructions.

	I began to make the sketches more intense starting from the head.

	Going forward, I made dark and light shadings in some parts.

You can see from indications that my shadings were properly shaded with dark and light shading.
