I am @saifuddinmahmud from Bangladesh. There is a beautiful and amazing contest. The contest name is Arrays of Agricultural topics choose-write-post #30. The contest organised by @hive-118902. I am going to share my thoughts. I hope everyone like my post.

The main driving force of a country is agriculture. The stronger the country is in agriculture, the more developed that country is. We eat rice, chickpeas, millet, etc. every day. The main source of production of all these products is rice. Different varieties of rice are cultivated in almost every country in the world. We get 4 types of crops from rice. After collecting rice from the tree, that tree is used to feed cattle. When rice is produced, rice is produced from there. Chickpeas are produced from rice. From rice, millet is produced. In other words, rice is the source of 4 products.

Different types of rice are cultivated in different seasons according to the variety of rice. These are Aman rice. This rice is currently being cultivated in Bangladesh. Basically, this rice is planted in June-July. This rice is harvested in October and November. Our Bangladesh Aman rice is of two types: planted Aman and sown Aman. It is very important to select a high-yielding variety suitable for the Aman season. Otherwise, good yields cannot be expected from it.

In the month of Ashadh, seeds have to be sown in the seedbed and seedlings have to be prepared. The land has to be cultivated well and harrowed. Weeds and soil should be mixed and smoothed. Saplings of the right age should be planted in the main land in the months of Shrawan-Bhadra. During the last tillage of land preparation, all DAP and MOP fertilizers and 2/3rd urea fertilizer should be applied. Weeds should be cleaned from the land regularly. Adequate amount of water should be ensured in the land and supplementary irrigation should be given as per the requirement. Remove diseased plants in advance and take action if insects are seen. Such rice crop is usually harvested in November and December.
