RE: Anne Sexton: Laberintos mentales cargados de poesía/Anne Sexton: Mental labyrinths full of poetry

I'm amazed at how easily you communicate; you're a great communicator. I've read the post twice. I wasn't familiar with this writer. And I understand that reading biographies of unknown writers is tedious these days, but you know how to add magic, searching for the essence (the true poetics of the artist). It gives me a glimpse into the great talent of both of you.
Her poetry is complemented by her fears and the chaotic world she lives in; it's strange, even acknowledging her own delusions. She writes, teaches, understands the art of words, and then commits suicide. It's poetry rooted in fear and despair. It's very visual; she can imagine the coat and the cigarettes.
Keep sharing; you always learn; everything is necessary when it's done with love.
I'm sure @wakeupkitty.pal would like to share her opinion about this writer. Did you know her work?

If you ask me there are many depressed writers. Too many emotions, hardships, misunderstanding and loneliness seem to be part of the character of an artist.

By name yes, but what she wrote doesn't ring a bell with me.

I think depression is a characteristic of sensitive people. Those who don't care about anything, or about others, don't get depressed. Generally speaking, artists navigate their journey in solitude. When we create, in that moment we are always truly alone. Or are we? And yes, emotions are a whirlwind of destruction.

He notado tu ausencia, si mi ausencia perdura, es ajena a mí. Me condiciona.

I've noticed your absence. If my absence persists, it's beyond me. It conditions me. But it's an everlasting absence. Feeling is always necessary, from those of us who feel affinity. Your synergy is necessary in these poetic places.
In essence, art is shaped by our feelings. We don't seek to understand language to make it less understandable, more superfluous. We must be the catalyst for others, making learning so simple for them that they say: "It's true, I can do this, or something similar." In apparent simplicity lies such mystery, it's an overwhelming chaos. Like a poem when we feel it has an edge, that it cuts, that it upsets the corners of the soul. Beauty, art.
