RE: Art Comment Contest: Red

I don't have many red items I've crafted to share. Instead, I can offer this paint-by-number piece I completed as part of my dexterity mobility exercises.

I changed the color a bit to match my cat, Kimbap. This painting has a name: "The Cat with The Red Scarf." Perhaps it could even become a book someday.

It's strange how colors can play tricks on one's emotions.

I personally have an inconsistent issue with the color red. Too much red can trigger panic attacks and other intense emotions for me on a bad day.

Red hair or red T-shirts were never a problem to me.

But a red bedsheet made me sleepless. I had to toss it out after just one night, and I was able to sleep again the next evening.

When we had to wear a red cheongsam for a Chinese New Year event, I was gripped by panic attacks all day. The dress was gorgeous, but the color just… overwhelmed me.

In the end, I couldn't keep it, even though I loved it so much.

I believe colours like smells do influence us.
I am not fond of red but strangely enough I do have more and more red in my house but not everywhere and prefeeably the darker red. My bedsheet is red but since I close my eyes and my room is dark it diesn't bother me besides I can cover it with a green plaid 😁
Here we say red is the colour of agression (not just love). How about red cars?

I must say I never felt comfirtable in red clothes. I have them today but they are not my first choice.

I only oainted by number as a kid. I doubt it was a big succes. I like your cat although I have no clue why it has a scarf. There must be a story behind it. 🍀♥️

I think I wouldn't mind red Ferrari🤣🤣🤣 I've never had any red car though.
I've been using mostly white bedding for now. It feels more soothing for me. I prefer things white but it can be impractical at times.
It's probably winter in where the cat is at hence the scarf.

Found the original one in GIF. All I did was to change the color of the paws.

I never had a red Ferrari either. I believe only very old men can afford buying them but have a hard time to get in and out.

It's clearly autumn on the picture because the leaves fell off and are still visible and colourful. This period will not last long. Once you walk over the leaves they change in mud and dirt plus it's wet during autumn. Good to slip and break a leg. LOL

Looks as if the geese in the background are also leaving (South). Funny one with the leaves. The cat seems to enjoy it.

A happy day!

You are so right about old men with their expensive cars. 🤣🤣🤣I didn't give it much thought before this until you mentioned it. I'm a bit worried about older men speeding around with such powerful car, similar with how I felt seeing teenagers driving sports cars.
We are hot and humid all year long in Malaysia. Only get to experience other seasons in overseas.
BTW, I saw you in Peakd/Hive. I registered another account for that. You are everywhere. How do you managed to stay so active online?
I would like to make a contribution of 10% with my post on Freewriters in future. What's the hive number or name I should put as beneficiary?
