Drawing the hamster with the red cap for a contest

Hello good afternoon everyone, how are you today? I would like to share a drawing that I have been doing for a contest that I have been invited to. This contest was created by @steemit-market and the friend who invited me to do this drawing was @wakeupkitty so I really thank you both for being so patient with me since I have not had time lately, in the case of the drawing I had to do it in photos, that is, as I did it I was taking photos since the device I had to record the videos while I drew broke and I had to make the decision to do the drawing this way. The name of the drawing is Seryoga which is the name of the character I am painting.

I loved this drawing because it's a version of the original. I made it as similar as possible and added my personal touch. I think I've been a little rusty at drawing lately, or maybe it was because I drew in the afternoon and was a little tired, but anyway, I got to work and made the drawing. Here it is.

In the first photo I started by drawing the mustache and the face, which would be the central part of the drawing, since a drawing without a face is not a drawing, but I added those touches to the eyes so that it looked good and thus complete the first part.

Then I added my personal touch. I'm referring to Janster's natural facial features, which are the lines that define the contours of the face.

I then moved on to drawing the Janster's cap, which is mentioned in the competition as it is a key feature of the Janter.

Next, I moved on to a crucial part of the drawing: the body. This part was especially cute, as you can see the slight differences, which makes it very adorable. In short, it's a very important part of the drawing, as it defines the hamster's body. The hardest part of this part was drawing its claws, as I had to be careful not to make them look ugly.

As a final step in the pencil coloring, I finished defining its distinctive features, specifically its fur. I drew the tail and other elements that give the hamster's body its distinctive detail, and defined the colors for the main lines.

Well, friends, finally, the most important part of this drawing: the sketch. I started by using the fur colors that give the hamster its characteristic color. Then, I went over the edges of the main lines that outline the body and drew the red cap. As I said, this is a very important part before the drawing, since it's the hamster with the red cap.

Well, friends, that's all for today. Here's this incredible drawing. I put a little of my precious time into it, and that's why I think it turned out well. Now I'd like to hear your thoughts on the result. See you soon with new adventures.
Many thanks to @steemit-market and @wakeupkitty.

But that's all for today. As always, this post has been translated from Spanish to English using Google Translate.

It's great to see you joined but I believe the idea is that you make a story around our hamster hero. Next a video out of your drawings and publish it on youtube (I work on it but no idea about the sound and how to get it on youtube LOL

There's still time.

Thanks, I'm glad you're making the video, but unfortunately I didn't have time, and to top it all off, the device holding the phone I was recording broke. I also thought about adding a story to the post, but since the contest was for a story video, I decided to add the drawing directly to at least support and do my part. And that's why I decided to just do the drawing. Thank you, my friend, for always being there and being a great friend; you're a friend like no other.
