Beautiful! I like the less detailed version almost better than the end result.

Same! I wish I was as talented as you. I tend to ruin my own stuff because I keep trying to improve it to the point of destruction (or rather lack the skill to pull it off). Yours is great though!

I'm ok. Life being life. I have been growing my hair out for that Mads Mikkelsen look while practicing my karate kicks in my underwear.
Did you buy a new chair for your desk? What was the piece of art you messed up lately? Will you join me if after the karate kicks? A Mikkelsen look or whatever is fine with me. We can always make up some period you were in, same for me, seems that's the way how art is "sold" or gets famous.

Nah, just started using a regular chair. I don't think it's the chair either but staying in one position for a time.
Haven't drawn anything in a while, meant more generally speaking. Because I definitely did that.

I felt that yesterday too, after it felt I sat the entire day. I sit better is a comfy seat instead of behind a desk. It's hard to find a good chair, good couch too by the way.

I used Brown, Cerulean Blue, Viridian, Phathalo Blue, a drop of Yellow for the window and a drop of Burgundy, and White and Black. I used five brushes. The finest is number one, which I used two of that number for the details. The canvas is 11x14 inches.
