RE: Humorous Quips

Those who laugh live longer... I believe my grandmothers rarely laughed and they became old... very old unlike the men. I laugh a lot.. I don't believe it's my goal to get very old. I would say: No thanks, but it seems people believe it or at least my friend LOL.

If it comes to the phrase:

There's power in looking silly and not caring that you do. - Amy Poehler

More likely we call it "crazy". I must say it works fine and the best is that those I am surrounded with are great with words, fast and it makes us laugh (good for the brains as well).

I don’t know how to act my age, I’ve never been this old before. - Unknown

This one sounds strange to me. I believe those who can and keep laughing, do see the humour in things wouldn't say they are old, more likely we say "born old but only getting younger".

Thanks for sharing and joining.
I wish you loads of laughter and a creative, funny week/end.

It is great to be surrounded with friends who are humorous. I appreciate my friends' humour. Time spent with them always passed very quickly. And you parted with the feeling that you had a great time.

I don't know if my friends consider me humorous. But I feel lacking in that department. I am not one who can tell a joke and make people laugh despite reading and having so my humorous quotes and jokes. I guess the ability to tell a joke is also an art. Some people have it in them, some don't.

I am not great in telling jokes and can make the funny guy really mad if I keep asking what is meant 🤣

Funny I only am if I am with ceetain people who seem to find it hilarious how I see the world or tell about what happened...

There are no jokes needed to have daily good laughs just a lively imagination.

A great Saturday!

You make me laugh. 🤣 I think you have what people call self-depricating humour. That is, you are able to make fun, or joke about yourself. That is a great asset.

Yes, you are right. Sometimes, when we are with a group of people who understand us, we make each other laugh without effort.

And you are right about 'no jokes needed to have daily good laughts, just a lively imagination.' Sometimes, we see the humour because we have a 'lively imagination'.

Hae a great Sunday!
