The September contest #2 by sduttaskitchen| Significance of the term organised!
How did you glance towards the word organised? Define!
When i first look at that word organised i don’t only think of tidy desk or straight rows of books, my mind quickly goes to peace, like calm river after storm, ordo in latin, that kind of order that makes breathing lighter. sometimes i stare at the word like it’s alive, almost whispering to me that life don’t have to be scattered all the time. in my head definition not just about neat shelves, it’s about keeping heart and brain from becoming overcrowded. once i had too many thoughts flying and i write each one down on scraps of paper, after that i feel soft relief. so to me organised is more than clean, it is like anchor holding boat steady when wind too wild.
Are you an organised person in your personal and professional Life? Share!
I can’t lie and say i’m fully organised every single part of my days. in personal life my shoes scatter sometimes under bed, one sock hiding behind chair, books climbing like tower on table. but funny thing i still know where everything is hiding. my friend once asked “where’s your red diary?” and i pointed under pile of clothes, exact spot, pulled it out, and he laughed. so i guess i’m halfway organised at home, messy but functional. in work side i wear another face. there i keep notes stacked, calendar filled with dates, alarms buzzing so i won’t slip. i tell myself disciplina is important, because people trust you when you look prepared. but too much organisation at home sometimes feel like chain, so i give myself room to be free, a little chaos keeps me breathing.
Do you believe organised work saves our time, energy and money? Justify your point.
I remember one time i lost my key, spent fifteen minutes searching, heart racing, sweat dripping, only to find it under my pillow. later i sit and think, if i was organised enough, maybe i save that quarter hour and my energy too. so yes i believe truly, organisation is saving not just seconds but also strength. tempus fugit, "time flies fast", and if you waste it looking for things, it never return. one small notebook with list can change a whole day. i once made shopping list, wrote every item, when i went to market i bought only what i need, no extra, no wasted coins. wallet stayed safe, mood stayed good. but the day i forgot to plan, i ended up buying three breads i didn’t even finish eating, money gone like smoke.
Organisation also saves energy in strange ways. when i prepare my week, write down tasks, i don’t rush like crazy on friday. i move calmly, each thing already lined. body feels lighter because brain isn’t shouting. vita ordinata means ordered life, and that phrase sticks in me. my uncle used to say “if you organise, you win half the battle before it starts.” at first i laugh, but now i know it’s truth.
Sometimes i still argue with myself though. part of me loves that careless spirit, shoes off, bed messy, papers scattered like autumn leaves, because from that mess i sometimes catch creativity. other part says, hey, too much disorder is dangerous, you waste energy cleaning up later. so i walk middle path, not saint of order, not full chaos either.
Organised work isn’t only about money and time, it also touches relationships. when i keep promises on schedule, my friends and colleagues feel respected. they see i prepared, they smile more, they trust me. but when i come late and say “sorry i forgot,” the trust breaks a little. so in hidden way organisation is glue between people too.
When i glance now again at that word organised, i feel it carries weight beyond letters. it is habit, it is art, it is discipline and freedom mixed. it doesn’t mean perfect, it means prepared enough to not fall into endless panic. i keep learning, stumbling, fixing again, but i know each little effort saves me tomorrow. ordo vincit omnia—order conquers all—maybe not completely true, but enough truth in it that i carry it close.
I invite @promisezella @etoro @imohmitch to participate in this contest
