How did you glance towards the word organised? Define!

Organised can be glanced as a situation or a condition where activities or programmes are arranged, ordered, programmed or scheduled for smooth execution. It can also be viewed as being coordinated to achieve a better result. Another meaning attached to organised is preparing anything to run it effectively or present it sequentially and not randomly without considering the result.

Are you an organised person in your personal and professional Life? Share!
Yes, I am an organised person in my personal and professional life.

professionally
I am a teacher by profession and for better teaching and evaluation, I plan my lessons daily Some of the elements of the lesson plan are: Topic to teach, duration of the lesson, Time, objectives, method to employ, textbook to use, content of the lesson, how to evaluate my students etc. With my lesson plan, I sequentially make my presentation and achieve my objective within the scheduled time.

Personal life
I plan my day immediately after I wake up from sleep to avoid being carried away by other activities that may be less important. Together with my wife we plan what to eat the next day the day before, when travelling, I make a checklist and use it to package what I am travelling with in order not to forget anything, I make a list when going to the market, I make a budget of how to spend my salary every month which makes me more accountable. Lastly, I hate seeing things unkept and this makes me sometimes sweep, wash plates, and arrange the bed even when my wife and children are there.

Do you believe organised work saves our time, energy and money? Justify your point.

Yes, I believe that organised work saves our time energy and money.

Time
Once we are organised, it helps to improve our focus and guide us to carry out our activities sequentially and within the time frame, thereby saving us time. In teaching, for example, once I plan a 40-minute lesson, I ensure that I achieve all the objectives within the 40 minutes without spending too much time on one aspect since the time is distributed across each element of the lesson plan.

Energy
It saves our physical and mental energy because we channel it to activities that matter based on our plans and objectives of the day. If we are not organised, we walk randomly and end up spending our energy on less important or useless activities.

Money
Being organised saves money because. As I have mentioned earlier, I make a budget for my salary monthly and this helps me to spend my money adequately. I also make a list to purchase items in the market to avoid duplication and purchase of irrelevant items.

Conclusion
Being organised has a lot of benefits in our personal life, professional and business activities some of which are: it saves time, energy and resources, it gives us focus, it makes our goals realistic and so on. Thank you, dear friends, for staying tuned to this point of my article.

Invitation
I hereby invite @zulbahri, @entity01, @ruthjoe and @ngoenyi to also join this contest.
