What do you understand by basic education?

I understand that basic education is the foundation of education. It is the first stage of education where one learn how to speak, read, and write. It is an education that introduces one to the basic things about lifestyle, such as how one can take good care of his or her, greet elderly ones, and so on.
Basic education is mostly for children who are growing up. It is not for adults; instead, it is for children, which is the first stage of learning how to speak, write, and read, as said earlier.
According to you, what things should have been included in the basic education? Explain!

According to me, knowledge, skills, and attitudes should be included in the basic education. The reason is that knowledge is power, and with knowledge, people wouldn't be misled in our society. Skills should be included in the basic education to teach children how to be self-independent in our society, so that with skills, people will be more productive than relying on the government.
Attitudes should be included so people can have good behaviour in our society. Today, to see a good attitude is hard because it is not being taught in schools.

Yes, I do believe basic education plays a vital role in our growth. Education takes us far and creates understanding among us. With education, I can become friends with the rich, and I can walk into any office and seek a job. Education creates connections for us, and it elevates us to another level. Education changes our level in life and it makes us think highly of ourselves.
