If we see our body microscopically then we will notice that our body is made up of cells and even our each cell which are present in the billions in amount in our body requires water content in high amount so that's why you guys can have an idea about the importance of water due to this.

I Agree with you that cleanliness of water depends a lot on the area that of which area is you are considering for checking the cleanliness of water as you have also talk about the mountains that mostly in the rainy season the rainwater when mixed with soil then it makes water polluted and adds a lot of contaminants and pathogens into the water.

Either the water is contaminated with the mixing of rain and soil or with the other pathogens it is very important to clean the water not just for drinking for every purpose also either it is for bathing or is for cooking and most appropriate and authentic way at domestic level to clean the water is to boil it and then make it cool at a room temperature and then drink it so you will not get any disease hopefully.
