Lets meet at Tamiya.

When you live in Cebu, particularly in Lapulapu City, we usually hear the place Tamiya. We can easily recognized the whole area as Tamiya including all the establishments. When in fact, the compound is called Pueblo Verde. Nope. You won’t hear it as commonly used when referring to a meeting place. Instead we used the Tamiya company name which is inside the Mactan Economic Zone II (MEZ-II). Together we discover this whole 2.1 hectares Pueblo Verde commercial hub.

PUEBLO VERDE is a commercial hub located right in front of the Mactan Economic Zone II (MEZ-II) along Maximo Patalinghug Highway in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City. With easy accessibility by both private and public transportation with clear directions provided for commuters and to those who are driving. They also have various designated parking lots for convenience.

Pueblo Verde is a Spanish word which means “green town.” It is a neighborhood commercial hub based on a clustered town concept that has a convenience store, pharmacy, restaurant, entertainment hub, pawnshops, salon, banks, grocery stores and a PUV Terminal. The property is developed by Aboitiz Land.

THE PUV TERMINAL

Tamiya Terminal serves as a major point for public transport in the area. Passengers can find jeepneys, vans (v-hires), and tricycles to travel to different parts of Lapu-Lapu City and potentially beyond. It is the common term for the whole place. It is easier to recognize when you use Tamiya than the Pueblo Verde especially when hailing a cab and in riding a public vehicle. Served by 24 hours public transportation. PUV terminal area w/ food carts for added convenience. Sign board going here for public jeepney is notable the Tamiya placards on their car windows.

THE OUTLETS

The authentic global brands are here. They have a variety of brands to choose from.

You can hop on one boutique to another and find your interest. They have their mid year sale when I visited. Vanz, Nike Factory Shop and many more.

There are more plenty branded shops as you go along for you to discover. I will leave it for now. For my experience, the shops are quite busy because it was Sunday and maybe there are big sales.

Ground floor of the Imez building where firness gym is located there are more coffee shops and restaurants. There are also beauty spa inside the Outlets which I was not able to check.

With easy accessibility and relaxing vibes in the area, you will surely enjoy the visit. It is basically you one stop for malling experience. Since it is an open space mall, prepare to be out on the street when going out on building to another. There is no overhead roof going from the bank to the fast foods, to grocery or the fashion boutiques or to the terminal. An umbrella is very handy when it is raining and with full sun.

When your rendezvous is at Tamiya, but you’re sitting inside one of the fast-food chains, remember Pueblo Verde.
