Rajah Humabon Monument, Cebu City

As summarizing a brief history, Rajah Humabon Monument - a historical monument that was placed and located in P. Burgos St., and Mabini St. in Cebu City, it was build to commemorate the King of Cebu - Rajah Humabon itself.

In fact, he is the first chieftain of Cebu to embrace Christianity in the Philippines, inwhich It has a historical marker installed to honor the chieftain.

In fairness during my observations and visit, the park is quite small compares to other historical parks in Cebu, inwhich the land area is in triangular shape and in my approximate calculation it only measures 500 sq.m. more or less.

Which it has a park light installed that with a decorative bars fence, planted by few trees, and surrounded by plant boxes that was planted with bougainvilla plants in the corner, while the ground is in ordinary grasses.

Apparently, the park is also surrounded by historical landmarks, which in the slight back portion of the park and where I've standing is the USP (University of Southern Philippines) - Mabini Campus.

And in the near left-side portion, is the historical Archdiocesan Bookstore building of Cebu.

In the front left-side portion of the park and slightly not far, is the Patria de Cebu building.

While in the front right-side portion was the historical church of Cebu, the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.

So, how to get this place? Best example and like in my case, which I'm coming from Lapu-lapu City and where Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) also situated, I am going to ride a public utility transport (PUB) with a route of Mactan-Parkmall with a fare of (0.63 US$ or 5.2 steem), then ride again with PUB route Parkmall-Colon with a fare of (0.44 US$ or 3.6 steem) and drop-off in Manalili Street. And from there, the park is with a walking distance of 5 minutes and to reach the place.

Actually, anytime you can visit the park at your convenience and it is free, but better to have a local guide for safety purposes.
