Greetings my dear friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @zisha-hafiz for sustaining this beautiful contest titled "📢 Contest || Unlock Your Creativity || Week - 20". In this week's contest, I drew the portrait of a leopard and below are the details of my drawing.

Leopards are big and strong animals that look like cats. They are carnivorous in nature meaning that they mainly feed on flesh. Their colour is brown, pale yellow to dark golden colours with black spots.

**Fact about Leopard **

  • The black spots on Leopards are called Rosettes
  • A female Leopard is called a leopardess.
  • A baby Leopard is called a cub.
  • Leopard can run very fast.
  • Leopard can survive for 21–23 years.
  • They spend more time in trees
  • They have a unique language of communication.
  • Leopards are solitary animals.

Now The Drawing

Materials for the drawing

  • Plain A4 paper
  • Pencils
  • Eraser
  • Sharpener
  • Colours

Step 1
I began the drawing from the forehead of the leopard through to the nose, the nostril and the mouth. In the mouth, I drew the four big teeth and the tongue. I also drew the head, the ear and upper part of the neck.

Step 2
I drew the lower jaw of the Leopard and the lower part of the neck. I also marked the connection between the head and the neck

Step 3
I drew the eyes and the small teeth in the mouth of the Leopard.

Step 4
I shaded the eye of the Leopard using a 10B pencil and a yellow colour. I also shaded the mouth of the leopard. I used a 10 B pencil to shade the mouth. I also used an orange colour to shade all the teeth in the Leopard's mouth and lastly, I shaded the tongue of the Leopard using a red colour and pencil

Step 5
I shaded the point of connection between the neck and the face. I also shaded the entire face and head with a brown colour.

Step 6
I drew and shaded the black spots (rosettes) on the leopard's head.

Step 7
At this step, I used brown colour to shade the neck of the Leopard.

Step 8
I drew and shaded the black spots (rosettes) on the neck of the Leopard.

Step 9
I used my brown colour to make the edges of my drawing hairy. I also drew the long hair (whiskers) around the mouth and finally, I wrote my name on the paper.

Conclusion
