The Diary Game || 17-05-2025 || A holiday: village, rain, travel, nature, and the hustle and bustle of electrical work and family time.

How are you all? I hope you are well. By the grace of God, I am also well. 👉 Today I want to share with you my daily activities on Saturday, 17-05-2025.

🛣️ Trip to the village on a holiday

Saturday is my weekend. On the weekend, I get ready to go to my village house because I have bought land in the village. The work of cutting the soil is going on there. I go to the village to observe the work and to pay the money. I leave the house in the morning. Then my daughter started crying to go with me. Finally, I set off with her.

It has been raining heavily for a few days. The environment is green and lush, there is no dust, and the roads are clean. I went with my daughter to the Sylhet Highway Main Road and stood there, waiting for the car. It was difficult to stand in the scorching sun, and the car was also late. Suddenly, seeing some flowers blooming on the side of the road, my daughter wanted to play with them. Then I took her to those flowers.

🍵 On the way from Kachpur to the village

I took a car from the Rupsi area of ​​Rupganj, Narayanganj, to Kachpur—which is part of the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. I went there and had a cup of Rang Chai at a shop and bought a juice for my daughter. Then we waited for a while for the car.

We got a car and went straight to the village. When we reached the village, I saw the green nature around, and my mind felt good. We spent some time with that nature and took photographs. New crops had been planted; it looked very beautiful.

🏞️ Sweet moments at the land inspection and aunt's house

Then my daughter and I went straight to our land. We went there and observed the work—I saw how much work had been done. Alhamdulillah, the work of cutting the soil of my land is almost 90% complete. Also, the work of building the dam on the land is almost complete.

Then I went to my aunt's house. After going there, my aunt plucked mangoes from the tree and let us eat them. My daughter and I sat and ate mangoes for a long time. By afternoon, the sky had darkened considerably. The cloudy sky and the surrounding environment were in a wonderful state—the nature was so beautiful—it was mind-blowing.

🌧️ A village market suddenly drenched in rain

Then I got ready to go to the village market with my daughter to take a little tour. We went to a local market together. Soon after reaching the market, it started raining heavily—as was to be expected, because the sky had darkened considerably. Both my daughter and I got drenched in the rain. My daughter was a bit stunned—she was completely silent. Perhaps her body was getting a little worse due to the cold.

🛍️ Last moments at the market and back to the city

After going to the market, my daughter and I observed some fruits. Mangoes, jams, and date nuts were being sold there. I bought five date nuts from there for 100 taka. Then we left the village for the city by car. We reached the city around 6 pm and returned home by rickshaw.

🏠 Returning home, electrical work and end of the day

After coming home, my wife made me a light breakfast—muri with onion, chilli, and tomato. Since it was a cold day, I really enjoyed eating muri. Then someone called me and told me that the light point in his house was not working—I told him that I was leaving for an emergency.

I brought pliers, a tester, a screwdriver and a two-pin holder. Then I headed towards his house to do electrical work. Before returning home after 9 pm, I bought some necessary things—like soap, shampoo, milk and a teapot. By then I was very tired. I had dinner by 10 pm and fell asleep.
