Be courageous

Good day my people. How are we all doing today. Hope everything is fine and we are doing our best in our work. It’s been difficult battling to keep up with my work and also writing on steemit. I am super stressed and work has not been easy but I thank God.

I wanted to work and that is what I prayed for. I finally have it so I won’t even complain. I am grateful for life and the fact that I have two hand and two legs to wake up and go to work. It’s all good. So I thank God.

Today, I want to continue my Bible motivation like I have been doing for the past two of my blogs. I told us of how I saw some Bible verses pasted on the wall of the house I visited and I liked it and I took pictures of them. Theee verses in all even though the last one I wrote about was scrambled. I don’t know if the person who pasted it didn’t look at it or that they don’t understand how to read and wrote be ordinarily he or she would have seen that it wasn’t written well or as least maybe even use the Bible to confirm but maybe he didn’t have a Bible at hand . It’s all good though.

Well, today I am sharing the third scripture with us.

This is a very popular verse in the Bible that has to do with a very popular story we all know. The story of Joshua and the children of Israel. Moses had just died and the Israelites; the children of Israel mourned him and it was time for them to cross over to the other side of Jordan. Moses has been the one leading them at all times and now he’s no more. Joshua has been his assistant all these while.

So now that it’s time to them to cross, God was talking to a Joshua to be strong and courageous. I think that for God to be talking like this to him, he understood that Joshua needs encouragement to lead the people of Isreal. Maybe he was discouraged or didn’t know how to go about it and God had to motivate him through r the words that he spoke to him.

He said be strong and courageous.Do not be afraid. That means Joshua was afraid for God to tell him not to be afraid. He then promised him that he will be with him where ever he goes. That’s a beautiful thing to know. The presence of God is our strong tower. We can always look up to him to help us and defend us and protect us.

This was God talking to Joshua but we can put ourselves in his shoes and also see that he is talking to us too. In one time or the other, we always see ourselves in situations that makes us afraid or wants to discourage us but God is talking to us today to not be afraid. We should not be discouraged and we should know that he is with us anywhere we go to.

All we will have to dojos to be strong and courageous just like the verse where we saw said. This is comforting if you ask me. So always look up to God and know that he is always with you and will help him of you let him help you.
