The Diary Game (14 May 2025) - Spending busy time on household chores.

Dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. By the grace of Allah, I am also doing well, Alhamdulillah. Yesterday evening, I came home because my niece has passed away. Those who regularly read my diary may know this. So, I was sleeping at night and woke up just after the Fajr prayer.

After finishing the prayer, I sat for a while, and then one of my friends asked me to take him home on my bike. So, without delay, I took him on my bike. It takes about half an hour to get there from our house. So, I went there, dropped him off, and returned. On the way back, I took a selfie.

Since I now have a bike, I set off for the market with a little opportunity. The purpose of going to the market was to buy something if I needed it or if I came across something interesting. So I took about 10 to 15 minutes to enter the market. After entering the market, I wandered around for a bit to see if there was anything to eat.

Suddenly, I came across a vendor whom I could recognize, and it brought back many memories from a long time ago. During my childhood, I ate a lot of shadi parota that they sell in the morning. This is called shahi parota, and many people also refer to it as chura parota, because it's sold in torn pieces. Along with that, they serve halwa.

The price of this food is only 20 Bangladeshi Taka, which has a steam value of just 1.2 steam. I brought that food home by riding a bike. When I brought it home, I saw that everyone was still sleeping, so I asked my mother if she would eat, and she said she wouldn’t. So I ate alone. After finishing my meal, I had a glass of water. This is how I passed the time until noon.

In the afternoon, I went to the market with my brother-in-law, that is, my sister's husband. I really like the village market. There are many beautiful foods and vegetables, fish, and meat available there. When we reached there, we first went to the fish shop, which was very big. After that, we did some shopping for fish.

We roamed around the fish market and selected some fish. Suddenly, we didn't prefer the big fish very much, so we bought small fish which were river fish. However, their price is significantly higher compared to the small fish. Also, small fish are much tastier than big fish and are much more enjoyable to eat with vegetables.

The price of the ones we bought is 200 Bangladeshi Taka. The steam value is 8.2. After finishing our shopping, we headed back home. I also shopped for many more things for my brother-in-law, that is for my sister. After finishing the shopping, I returned home. When I got home, I had lunch. There were still some purchases left, so I took my bike and went to the market again. First, I bought raw peanuts.

We buy groceries because these raw nuts need to be roasted at home. They taste good. So, I brought home some other items after shopping, and then I came back home. Well, I bought about 3 kilograms of nuts, which cost three hundred Bangladeshi taka, with a premium price of 16.50 premium. After finishing shopping, I came back home and spent the remaining time at home. Everyone stay well, stay healthy, goodbye.
