Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

I'm veritably happy to partake in week 39 of the art contest organized by @dequeen. Drawing has constantly been a devotion for me, and I trust art is one of the stylish ways to express creativity, imagination, and passions. Whenever I get free time, I love to pick up my labels and produce commodity various. This week I decided to make a drawing that's both fun and lively.

What I Drew

For this week, I created a drawing of a pink pig delighting itself in the slush. Pigs are special creatures, and they frequently roll in slush not just to commemorate antisocial but also to cover their skin. I wanted to carry that sportful flank of the gormandizer and make the scene look cheerful. To add further beauty, I included some green lawn, shops, and a red flower in the background. The gormandizer looks veritably happy, and through this artwork, I wanted to show how indeed simple brutes enjoy life in their own way.

Step by Step Process

👉 First, I followed the contest instruction and wrote my username @taaher1 and the date18-09-2025 on my drawing space before starting.

👉 I began by drawing the figure of the pig with a pencil – starting from its round body, head, cognizance, nose, legs, and curled tail. Also I added details like the eyes, mouth, and hooves to form it seem again natural. After finishing the pig, I worked on the background. I pictured some lawn, small shops, and a blossom to make the locale more animated.

👉 Next, I used a black marker to outline the entire sketch so it would stand out easily.

👉 Eventually, I started coloring – pink for the pig, brown for the slush, blue for water, green for the lawn, and red for the flower. I precisely filled the colors to keep it neat and bright.

Time Taken & Feelings

It took me around one hour and fifteen minutes to finalize the whole drawing. While making it, I felt relaxed and joyous. Drawing always reminds me of my nonage when I used to spend hours making various sketches. After finalizing, I felt proud and delighted with the result.

Inspiration

My inspiration came from adhering how creatures live happily in their natural way. A gormandizer rolling in slush might look funny to us, but for the pig, it's a moment of consolation and happiness. That idea buoyed me to capture this joyous occasion through my drawing.
