Hello follow steemians welcome to my blog. How are you doing in your respective countries? I'm here to join this thoughtful contest. This is my very first time of competing in this contest.
I will also like to use this opportunity to thank @ashkhan for organizing this wonderful contest. I love all the support and sincere assessment I get from this awesome community. Here is my story. Let's dove down real quick.

My Story

Here is a picture I took with my coworker while I was working as a classroom teacher in a school in a town called Ikot Akpabio in Etinan local government area. The name of the school was Fundamental International Schools. It had Nursery, Primary and Secondary section. Though I'm not here to talk about the school and it's environ or location. I'm here to talk about the charming lady standing beside me. She's a priceless friend. Her name is Nduke Udofia. She was the one who announced the job opening in that school to me. I was jobless after I graduated from the college and fate got us together. Nduke Udofia is a very genial fellow and she really loved what I was doing as at then. I guess she got attracted to me because of my creativity and I fell for her charming smile and words of encouragement.

We met a couple of times and she told me that there was vacancy in her school. They were in need of a Fine Art teacher because the last one went on NYSC (National Youth Service Corp). I adhered to her advice and I got the job. Though the school management never gave me that position. They said being an artist doesn't qualify me for that position since I don't have a certificate qualification in Fine and Industrial Art. I was asked to teach Social Studies, Geography and Government from JSS1 to SS1. Though it was complicated but I managed to perform my duty religiously and was quickly notice by the management as one of the best serving teacher.
I really enjoyed my job. My students were genial and lovely. I haven't met such set of children with widen intellectual horizon. I worked there for a term and a half. The experience I got from the institution really changed my perspective about so many things. I also enjoy the company of other teachers and their charisma.
This picture reminds me of two days ago, which was children's day. I took this picture with Nduke in the stadium when we went on children's day event while I was a staff there. I know Nduke is not a steemian and probably may not read or see this post, however I want to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you for leaving a print in my career life. What you did for me years ago has gone s long way in moulding my character. I want to let you know that I won't forget all the memories we shared together in the office and home. I won't forgot them in a hurry. Nduke I still love you and like Whitney Houston hit song "I will always love you"
It's hard to walk away. I will apparently turn you to a steemian someday.

I invite my friends @jemilatbuhari @goodybest and @alexanderpeace to participate in this contest as well.

Thanks for going through my post and blog as well. I hope you like the shot, stay tuned, more stories are coming. I remain Tempest Art.
Happy steeming friends💙
