The Diary Game | 16/09/2025 || Busy With Work And A Self-care Treat In A New Restaurant

Good day my fellow steemians and members of this prestigious community. How are you doing in your respective countries? I'm so glad to be a member of this community. In fact this is one of my favorites community. I hope you are having a great time? I'm so grateful to God for the gift of life. I am here to tell you how my day went on the above date. It was a very productive and fulfilled day for me. Read on.

Morning

As usual I woke up early, grateful and ready for the day. It wasn't like every other day. I had so much in my mind to accomplish. I had to fasten up my seatbelt like someone ready for a plane flight. I started the day with my usual routine of washing up, brushing and doing laundry. After which I took my breakfast.

When I was done with my meal I called my new apprentice @dheoracle on the phone. He told me he was on his way. When he arrived I started working on the unfinished project that we started yesterday.
I worked on the unfinished job from about 10:14 am. to about 02:27 pm. Though I'm not so certain about my starting time. However, it's around that time because I actually timed myself.

Afternoon

When we finish with the portrait I was famished. I guess this was because I didn't eat much for breakfast. I came up with the idea to take my new apprentice to the new restaurant in my neighborhood just to give both of us a treat with our local cuisine. This restaurant is new in my neighborhood and the owner is my long time friend. Miss Glory is a very good chef. I decided to pay her a surprise visit.

We ate hastily because we had to submit that finished portrait that same day. After the lunch we boarded a tricycle from Itu road heading to Ibom Plaza.

When we got to the frame shop we gave the artwork to the staffs to do the framing while we patiently wait for them to finish it.

It took about 40 minutes for them to finish it. My client Mr. Odudu Ekan was there too waiting for them to finish it so he can do the submission to the owner of the portrait. He told me it was a birthday gift. He said he's attending the party that evening.

Evening

When I was done with everything I went with my apprentice to the bus stop just to accompany him to go and get a bus that will take him home. We strolled from the frame shop at Ibiam street to Ikot Ekpene road.

At the bus stop we went separate ways. That evening I decided to visit my Ubong Luke my amigo. When I got to his shop we talked about monetization and content creation on our Facebook.

When I was done with my friend I left his apartment feeling blessed because I've been able to accomplished what I wanted for the day.

When I got home I took my dinner or evening meal before going to bed. I was very happy that rain could not ruin my plan for the day. I was also glad that I could accomplished all I had on my to-do list.
